guys do realize that those VK's are bound to get nerfed... AP1 heat dmg 250+ dmg pre-slice? yeah nice, but that's like if they gave the swordsman's new axe AP3 with cold dmg. i wouldn't get too anxious for this bad boy it's just too raw to be kept the way it is. remember the original t-21's? i sense a similar nerf comin for these ones. just a thought and more power to you tk's my little old pike poker will stay in the fair grounds using the lance for the only thing it is good for picking up trash with the pointy end.

I would imagine this will be the case, but if the stats become like a normal VK then the compulsoryNightsister Vibro Unit has to be dropped too so that it is craftable. Requiring a pretty rare drop in the schematic should be reflected in a significantly higher stats weapon.


Nice to see a bit of variation being thrown in. Maybe time to pick up TKM again.

I'd have to say this will probobly NOT get nerfed. I cant see a very large portion of the server population getting these... EVER. I know how hard it is to find those vibro units. I've been hunting for them for quite some time and have only found a measly 2 in a matter of about 2 months of NS killing. The VK schem is prolly even harder to find.

Right now TKA is very balanced with other melee professions because of kinetic only damage. I wonder if the devs give you a new damage type how that will affect things in terms of balance.


The unique abilities of TKA were balanced by the serious crutch of kinetic only damage. Now that you have all the special abilities of TKA AND multiple damage types I wonder what will be done to balance out the other 3 melee professions.


With these devs though I will not hold my breath.

No offense, am I the only one who realizes Heat Damage is as useless as Kinetic in PvP?


Damage type is great...but until they balance armor, HAM, and buffs...


...It won't be much.




But at least it's a start!
