I have noticed the following regarding DA: during PvE, it performs fairly well. Also, my Melee/Ranged defenses seem to do much better during PvE. For PvP, it does seem that dodge was given quite a boost while DA seems to lag significantly behind. Somehow, the effects for these defenses appear to have a dual level: PvE and PvP. For illustration purposes, do this: (1) go to Dathomir and take on an enraged rancor; see how many times it misses and you counterattack/dodge/block. (2) do the same thing with a rifleperson friend. Huge difference.
