It's TKM; Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler
A very very enjoyable template, pretty powerfull too
Good pistols and some pistol speed takes or a must for PvP tho
best thing to do is try what you like...before I ended up here I went master marksman, commando, medic, scout......

I'm thinking of taking either triple threat which would be nice, although my guild already has a million smugglers in it and no chefs. So if I do go the chef route my guild would be very supportive I reckon, which would be nice. And also the money from chef would be friggin jawsome.
So now my decision has been narrowed to:
TKM/Smuggler/Pistoleer
OR
TKM/Chef/and a little dabbling around.(IE scout4040, and some fencing for the huge dodge)

at novice smugger and novice BH you are certified to use detonation droids...
this are regular droids loaded up with detonation modules.
you detonate thru radial or by targetting and /det(onate)
these guys do a nice amount of blast damage and are A LOT of fun to use.

Oh man....detonation droids sound very fun.
Loseresque, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm still a MCH and former Master Pistoleer. While grinding to Nov TK, I picked up Smuggler (heh, had tons of unused pistol XP just lying around). I was able to get 0030 in smuggler without any work cuz of the extra points and I gotta say.....Low Blow is amazing compared to what we have in Pistoleer.
I'm like the other guy that posted earlier...sorry, can't see his name....that is having a blast with combat. I'm now a 0 0 4 3 TKA and I'm loving the game. I just soloed the Narglatch Cave on Naboo which is something I couldn't do even as MCH / MP (unbuffed). I did this with only brandy and had a blast and made some nice xp in the process.
Here's what I'm thinking.....dropping CH....but keep some low level skills for the pest in PvE. Then reacquire pistoleer, but not master...more like 0 0 4 0 cuz you get some awesome defenses, then keep smuggler of at least 0 0 3 0 for the ranged knockdown, then Mbrawler and as much fencer as I can. I'm not certain if this is all doable until I "crunch the numbers" on it...but this would have a lot of advantages in PvP.
Right now, I'm just a nov pistoleer 0 0 0 0 and I don't regret for one minute dropping that gimped profession. However, I keep going back and forth between a PvP template and a PvE template....I dunno....can't we just have more skill points and do ALL the professions?? HUH?? DEVS???? PLEASE??

If you have the speed and/or weapons then you will adsolutely LOVE dirty fighting IV: Last ditch
I hit people for over 1k with this shot! (but they prolly didn't have ANY stun protection)

Detonation droids are made by putting the module into a regular droid with an empty slot.
The best thing about the module is that it fits in a Mouse Droid (MSE-6). So the little rolling lunchbox can zip innocently into a crowd of people and then BOOM!

how much does a cheapo mouse droid and a cheap module cost????
and do you get any xp for anything if you use it?

I don't imagine the droid and module could be more than 20K, probably less than half that. It's a one-use item of course.
Not sure if you'd get XP in PvE... Do you normally get XP if your droid kills something?
