Personally I am now totally melee. TKM ,Master Brawler and working on Master Swordsman. You do what you think is best but I did give up MCH and Master Pistoleer. I have never enjoyed the game more than with my current template. But your milage may vary.

in the FAQ I saw a template that really sparked my interests.

Hey...i was almost master pistoleer and i am master ch...im -0-1-2-1 with tka and i like it sooooo much better...Do you think i should give up mch too? i really like that proff...but...i wouldn't mind swordsman as a back up proff...what should i do? I'm asking someone who has had to make the same decision

I can't tell you what you should do, but I am much happier with my choice.

i like being TKA/Pistol Master and 4-4-4-0 Fencer
not fotm, not the super uberest, but works for me

I was a CH but dropped it, just because it wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be. I was a smuggler too, but I dropped it because the specials didn't work as well as I hoped they would (especially lowblow which is useless without a dizzy attack).
Don't drop them if you really like them though. I kept TKM throughout all the problems it has had over the months, just because it's fun and I'm comfortable with it.

Ok, I've been smuggler for awhile now, and I just recently got tkn and it's alot more exciting than smuggler has been by far. So my question is, should I drop smuggler for more exciting melee proffessions which would boost my defenses substantially, or should I stick with a smuggler template and go hybrid with pistols. I'm leaning towards dropping smuggler, but some more proffessional opinions would be great, thanks.

The smuggler revamp will be coming eventually....not sure when though..

i hope it does. but uh, do you recommend that I stick withsmuggler? cuz uh, pistols are getting pretty boring for me.

Actually, just a minute ago I thought up a new template, that could make me some cash on the side with a business.

You would imagine that being a chef or some other crafting proffession, maybe droid engineer would be very beneficial to the TK lifestyle, you could have major droid backup while fighting, which would be handy. Or you could have your own food, saving major cash and inconvenience of trying to find a good chef.

Go TKM, Master Pistoleer, smuggler at least 0040 and spend your leftover SP on fencer, medic or scout
