Ive been a TKM 3 separate times...theres so many professions thats i would love to have....guess i gotta make new characters on different servers...i like rifleman, tka, pistoleer, commando, BH....but swordsman is so much more versatile and useful....so im TKM/master swords/master brawler now.....

I dropped TKM to try out bounty hunter...MISTAKE! Anyway, I am almost back to triple master and when I'm done I am STAYING done (what is it with this game that makes me obsess with changing my template all the time). Anyway, I wanted to respond to this thread because I wanted to say how amazed I am at the difference leveling TKM this time. The first time I mastered it I did it on Dant. with no buffs and no armor. I had good stim b's and feign death if things got ugly. What once took months will now take a week or so of casual game play.

The moral, like everyone else is saying, DO NOT DROP novice! Thankfully I had the foresight not to.

Well after getting bored of trying to teach random people i just offered 200k to anyone that would let me teach them rangedsupport 1 a sozen times my friend (my2nd TKA apprentice) was amused that he trained me in remaining skills and master. and now i sit happily with the knowledge that regardless of the situation i can whip out my VK's and at least offer a good fight.

Although i did bite off more than i could chew the other night on lok, ran into a few imps, (12 or so) near a PC base, thought, why not, jumped off my speeder and began the ritual pummeling that i find so amusing, speed of movement creating red streaks of light as i attacked, swiftly i moved from 1 to the next, taking seconds to down them.

Unfortunatley there was another dozen or so ST's round the corner that i had missed on the radar in my hurry to enjoy the ownage TKM can offer, well they all started pummeling me with ranged fire, and there were just too many in the end, off to the cloning facility it was.

I still love the profession and the moves seem more enchanting than ever, try taking on a Mokk mission, easy todo yes, attack only the base, still easy, butwatch your toon carefully, between hits on the base you'll spin and weave blocking the attacks from the clan with easy, its a beautiful sight to see such an artform at work, i was gobsmacked when i first watched the movements properly, mokk 1 goes to whack you with a tree, you spin, your hands come out to divert the attack, now yes u substain a very small hit, but just watch the movement of defence itself.

My final template is near complete, and soon, i shall be deaths whore, if the money is good enough, i'll try my best to kill it.

I loved that template! I had FS melee speed branch on top and only needed +3 more to cap in 2h speed. But now i have dropped mBrawler and mSwords to grind my last branches of FS with grenadier.

But guess what my alt is gonna be

my first profession was BH it was fun but the inves just burned me out i felt like i was spending more money on droids and travel tickets and only coming out even. i finished bh and about a week later i gave it up for TKA mastered in about 2 weeks slow i know but it was fun. i love the fact that i can get up close and personal with my enemies. the greatest enjoyment was when i went with my guild to the spawn waypoint 0, 0 for the death watch guys. that night i realized how muct ienjoy tka tanking a SBD and i have no other defence skills just pure TKA with some skill in scout and ent

When SWG first came out and i was a noob, I used to HATE Teras Kasi's with a burning passion. Every PvP battle, i'd get Dizzied then Knocked down. Finally I got sick of this happening, and Mastered TKA. I'll never surrender this profession. It's part of me now

SOE/LA marketing slogan for SWG:
Only $15 a month for the game!
Why?
Because each month it's a different game.
Think of it as a Mario Party Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Role Playing Strategy Action Adventure Turn-Based type game.
