Thread: Never give up TKM

Sunday night, after 9 months of TKM i began to surrender my skills for a new template, dropped to 4/0/3/3 and planed to loose all but meditate.

Monday night, get in from work, completely regretting decision. I have come to depend on TKM for virtually everything i need, i grind Mokk missions at 2 every 5 minutes (including travel) i can go off and hunt high level mobs with my guild, and tank so the newer players can sit relatively safely out of the way.

Fortunately i have no intention of taking the FS approach, so had capped XP, this got me straight back to 4/2/4/3. then 2 hours grinding on Dantooine later i have all teh xp i need to finish. I just need to get AP and i'm master again.

Lesson to be learnt. Once you master this profession, its gonna be very hard to give it up. TKM is great fun, it owns nearly all in PvE. you can attack with devastating power and speed, great defences and meditate is the most useful single skill in the game.

So i'm training in BH now so i can go kill those pesky jedi, til then have fun all and treasure those skill points in TKM

I made TKM yesterday, after meandering through lots of previous professions. I'm now a TKM/Doc, and think I will stay with this template indefinitely.

TKM is amazingly fun to play, and it's even fun to watch the animations during combat. I'm very happy with it!

I was a Master Bounty Hunter since little after Launch.

I finally gave it up, and jump straight into the wagon with Master TK.

I finally enjoy the game a little better now.

I could never give up TKM, all the templates I try to configure HAVE to have to TKM in it. What would I do without meditate and Force of Will?!

agreed. I have tried alot of combat profs, even if it was just the first few boxes (to try and get a feel for it), but in the end, it was TKM that I have stuck with.

I can max my unarmed xp in less than an hour, and spend the last hour (of my mind buff ofcourse) grenading it up (4/0/4/0 Commando). That makes a nice little haul of FS xp evey buff session.

I would never drop novice TK. I had power 4, and on a whim decided to go back to TKM and did it in a little less than 4 hours. At the very least if you EVER think you want to be a TKM again NEVER, EVER drop novice, the only xp harder to get from unarmed 3 to TKN is Merchant

Don't forget BH XP. Took me quite some time to get to inv 3 and even longer till Inv 4.

After about 6 months, I finally dropped TKM and one tree (the speed and damage one-forget the name) the other night in favor of a little dabbling. Probably go back eventually to TKM, but I'll never drop past novice though. TKM was my first elite profession mastered and I don't want to go through that grind again. lol
