Simple really.

I really enjoy it.

I don't think it is that broken. Certinly not PvE and you need a little soul in the game. I wouldn't swap my TKA for an armful of wookies.

I hate blaster whores.

as a concept, I think TKA's are probably the kewlest thing in SWG...it's just unfortunate that we have the powers of the godz in-game. i accidentally pulled a knockdown1 on Endor and actually blew up the planet (I hate ewoks)....sorry to kill all those pc's and npc's on planet but i just can't resist the superpowerz that TKA's have.

I began my SWG career with Dancer - I knew it was going to be my first love, and after Mastering Dancer, I know I was right.

So in the sense of character continuity, what else could a professionally trained dancer do? Flying kicks, of course!

That, and I played Martial Artists in Anarchy Online for 2 years. I tried a lot of other classes and always came back to MA.

Why did i go TKA knowing it was like this? I'm a martial artist. I'm a gym hound and have been for years. Every day. Physical perfection is my drug. So...hence the TKA.

And i love to rp, and roleplaying a Teras Kasi is very fun. It fits the style i want to roleplay. I didn't 'want' to take Carbiner, but i did so i could fight in pvp without running away and releasing pets. I'm forced to use chargeshot 1, run up to them, switch to vk's then fight. Meh, it's lame, but it works.

And i wanted to combine Teras Kasi and Creature Handler. Harmony and balance with one's self and one's environment. The two go well together for the martial arts purists. And i have faith that the dev's WILL fix our class one day. And then everyone will jump on the TKA badnwagon (Like they are now with BH) and we who are already masters and close to it will have the advantage.

I have rarely used beserk once I got Knockdown. They already nerfed KD against kimos and krayts which is perfectly reasonable. I don't see what else they can nerf. I chose TKA because it reminded me the PSX game Star Wars : Masters Of The Teras Kasi. If a profession has a video game title then it has to be cool. =D

sigh well as a martial artist in real life. i kinda believe in my fists lol even in diablo i tryied to go barefisted. honestly guys i don't really think of Tka as much of a tank. they seem to be more of a eq monk where as all the other brawler professions are like warriors. we tka's are the mega damage dealers of the brawlers even tho that doesn't even seem right lol when the other classes out leet us in the begining

I went TKA cuz they are powerful. Alsowiththe 75% reduction in pvp damage TKA will be very good. no more gettingkilled before u reach a person, expecially a TKA/Medic will own.

Because I am a melee kind of guy, and I actually still expect them to fix it. Their deadline is the release of WoW.

Becuase I like martial arts, and I like close combat. I have fun with TKA. I guess I don't really care if it's "teh l33t"... in fact, just typing "teh l33t" makes me feel ill.

I play the game to have fun, and TKA is fun for me. There you go.

I love to tank. I like being the guy that pounded on while my group members avoid danger a safe distance away.You never get any on the glory but people admire you for your willingness to protect the group.

Because I loved the idea of martial arts - something thath as not been done much or at all in other MMORPGs. And I think its fun, and I don't find all the stuff to bitch about that many of you do. But then again, I'm a pretty relaxed easy going play these days.. in game anyway.
