One hit for every two, huh? Know many people that use base speed 4.0 weapons, do you?

Here's a few interesting points:

- Our best weapon has an unmodded speed of 2.0.
- A decent qualityPikeman or Swordsman weapon has an unmodded speed of roughly 2.4, and about 1.4 times the maximum damage of our best weapon. Because these weapons are crafted, they can be tuned towards either frontloaded damage or repeating damage instead of always being exactly the same, like our knucklers.
- Swordsmen get higher natural speed mods from their skill tree than TKAs do (10 points more, to be precise).
- Even if you did hit twice in the same time it took your opponent to hit once, which you wouldn't, this is not the same thing. If you aren't familiar with the difference between frontloaded damage and repeating damage in pvp, you are not a veteran/experienced player by any stretch.

All you're doing is regurgitating the same old generalised nonsense that TKAs have been deluding themselves with for ages. The fact of the matter is that we have very good defense and abysmal everything else. The selling point for our profession is readily available to anyone with 39 skill points to spare. We need either better crowd control or better offense to balance out as a standalone profession, and if it's all the same to you I'm quite happy to continue posting on the matter until something's done about it.

I see by your amazing, thought-inspiring retort that your defense is kind of low, 25 skill points will get you Improved CoB.

Heh? You think mypost count has anything to do with how long I've been playing the game?

Why don't you get out? Maybe you should stop posting on the forums and start actually playing the game, since you seem to know next to nothing about it.

The one hit for every two was just to symbolize that we ARE faster at dishing out attacks. Symbolization.

Idiot.

symbolization........lol
So just typing something you percieve makes it fact?
Me hits for 120
Me hits for 120
XX gives me 1,000,000 dollars
Me hits for 120
Me hits for 120
XX slaps you and says QUIT posting insubstantial garbage

So, you're trying to prove that TKM has good damage by making up your own numbers for damage? By your logic of "symbolization" (symbolism, btw. Keep taking shots at people for bad grammar and misspellings) Icould say ranged shot does more damage than advanced crit shot by posting:

XX uses ranged shot for 800

XX uses ranged shot for 800

I use critical shot for 600

Wow, look at that, Ranged shot does 1000 damage more than critical shot. Unfortunately, just writing it doesn't make it true. TKM vs. XX Melee Prof definitely isnt a 2:1 speed ratio and probably isnt a 1:2 damage ratio either. Why don't you go get some hard facts and report back on the ACTUAL damage output of a TKM?

I'm not the one flaming. I made the post to Converse about TKA's damage. You came in thinking you know everything.

BTW, if your going to "move on" then do it. Somehow you keep coming back.

I knew this was going to happen.

Mank, GarVa, Virrago..someone

just lock this one.

Here's a little known fact, making numerous posts about the same topic doesn't do anything except clutter the boards.

It isn't cool, it isn't effective, it only makes you seem like you're trolling, which in turn, makes whatever argment you're trying to make far less legitimate.

Especially when i see mob mentality taking over.

Heh, for someone who didn't come here looking for a flamewar you sure are easy to rile. Your symbolism is meaningless, as I've illustrated. Our attack speed is not significantly higher than any other melee profession's.

Edit: By the way, it's 'symbolism'. No need to thank me, that's how you learn.
