"So it doesn't really matter, Atama? How hard will it hit me to be unable to wear boots or gloves if I chose Trandoshan as a race? Assuming I can't get doc buffs all the time."
I get sad whenever I see a cool pair of boots or gloves for sale and know I can't wear them. Also it's tough when we can't armor those parts of our body, since apparently feet and hands are commonly struck in combat. But it's not unbearable. I look forward to someday being a Jedi and not having to worry about armor anymore.
"Oh, also...what exactly does Regeneration do for Trandoshan? and Vitalize? The description for each of them shows, I think, that they are short term stat buffs...but what do they actually do?
Regeneration boosts your Constitution stat by about 100 points. It doesn't last a long time, maybe 10 minutes or so, and you can do it once an hour (like Force of Will). It's somewhat handy when you're a newbie but you almost never use it when you get stronger.

Here's a stupid question that I'm sure gets asked all the time...where should I go to level up as an Unarmed Brawler? Already gotten Unarmed III and I'm being forced further and further away from Mos Eisley in my search of decent exp.

i'm a tran. Regeneration is about a 10min +200 boost to constit. This HAS saved me time and saved me just overall from being incapped by health.

Sycks are a type of lizard, think of a bigger, more dangerous and aggressive rill. At your level of strength they should provide a decent amount of experience without being too hard. If you can't find syck missions in Mos Eisley, make a run or take a shuttle to Bestine where you can definitely get syck missions.
If sycks seem too hard, do diseased bocatts until your next skill box is trained.
