I too agree with the above metioned needs. The biggest thing for me would be the TKA background and the introduction of Dojo's. Just think, Masters opening dojos in player cities and touraments becoming a regular activity. Would be very cool.

One other that appeared a few times was the lack of a timer showing up for Powerboost in the buff window. We might want to consider adding that one as well. Maybe we should push for it instead of teh alternate damage type question?

We have an answer on DA, to an extent, and were told that it would be addressed in the Combat Balance. However, given recent developements (the Combat Balance being pushed back) do we want to pursue it as a fix in the meantime or focus on defenses in general? After all, I think we should be tougher to knockdown than we are, as an example(who heard of a Master of any style of Martial Art not having good balance?).

Meditation curing states would be a good idea... nothing worse (to me) than having to stand around waiting until being blinded passes in order to sit down and meditate. Do I honestly have to be able to see to close my eyes and meditate?

The TKA content question is probably my main question, and I am glad to see it mentioned

Dual wielding VKs has been a question in the back of quite a few peopl's minds since it was announced that Pistoleers and Fencers would be able to eventually, this is of course a possible question as well.

Another long-running issue is the lack of a DoT attack in our repertoire.

And of course the issue of having to fight an NPC that is 100% resistant to our only damage type to get the component needed to create our alternate damage type (when it is introduced). Resists in general I think is an issue, but I'm willing to bet this one is a combat balance question.

Hey guys, I supplement my TKM with Swordsman. The main reason is to solo NS and other mobs that have high kinetic resist. For those of you that are looking for an association or history on TK, here is a fan site I came across.... You could start an order / association on any server and live the life of a TKM.

Just remembered another one I sawa while back...

Meditation Animation Fix - the person who mentioned asked why their had to be a goofy grin on his face when he meditated.

Also, why do we have to sit before kneeling? Can't it be just a standing to kneeling animation?

Yes, they could work on the meditation animation. If I went to my ju-jitsu class and sat down before I kneeled, I would get punched by my master I think a glow would go nicely with the TK during meditation.... maybe colored depending on your status within the force (who and what you hunt and who you are aligned with). Just like Bruce Leeroy.... and Shonuff

Technically DA does work, but not on a truly noticeable level...

So from whats been said so far these seem to be the most popular requests:

1.) Fix DA
2.) Alternate damage type
3.) Speed up meditation at the master level to cure poisons/diseases better
4.) Lower FoW timer
5.) Curing states with meditation at master

Anything you guys want to change?

Yep, I'd group the Meditation issues into one and slide another issue in to get as much as possible out of a "Top 5"

If you'd like I can create 5 from this and see where we are

That would be cool. We could kinda work together to get a list of issues going.

If I combine as much as possible our top 5 could look like this:

1.) Fix DA
2.) Alternate damage type/DoT
3.) Master meditation should cure states and cure poisons/diseases better
4.) FoW timer should be lowered
5.) Power boost should be shown on the modifier window

Looks pretty good, but instead of just DA I would blend DA with stronger Defenses...

What kind of defenses? Melee, ranged, state, or toughness? Or maybe a small combonation of dodge, block, and counter attack? Maybe at the master level you could get +20 to each of those? The TKA is kind of like fencer/swordsman/pikeman put together in terms of pool attacks/versatility.

My single greatest wish for TKA stems from this quote in the StarWars encyclopedia.

from The Star Wars Encyclopedia:
"Both a martial art and an Order. The Teräs Käsi were formed from the remnant civilians of a long-ago battle which devastated their home world of Palawa, a war which involved the awesome powers of the Jedi Council. The few survivors of Palawa migrated to a nearby world called Bunduki, where they decided to master mind over bodyThe Teräs Käsi are thought to be sensitive to changes in the Force, and Teräs Käsi Masters are feared by the Jedi. But Teräs Käsi are not generally Force users as Jedi are: Teräs Käsi draw internal, personal power, while Jedi draw from everything around them."

Let TKA have TEF's on any jedi regardless of faction who display a lightsaber or force power. It is then the choice of the TK to engage the jedi. BH's pull missions, fine, they hunt them. We would not be hunting them, we would simply be given the choice to fulfill the greater purpose of Teras Kasi, the policing of the abuse of the Force.

This is my single change I want to my beloved profession. I have other little things, but our profession is in far better shape that most others. Please oh please dev staff grant me this one wish.

With Respect,

Thats a sensitive issue Jalen. The devs lowerd the pre-reqs on the BH so that more professions could dabble in investigation and hunt Jedi.

It was hinted in the SWG Stratics chat that even perhaps Darth Vader would come along to hunt Jedi.
