I attacked various mobs last night and they stayed down for about a minute.

At one point I ran into a pack of roba ( on Endor at that ). I was rushed by about 5 of them that conned white and and used KD2 on all of them. I was able to kill them all before they got up. Yeah i think it's safe to say that dizzy will be nerfed.

so if you didnt have the medic, how would you have fared? Consider the fact that AR, AP, and resists are out of whack right now also.

if i didnt have medic id have died in the first minute flat out. i lasted 10 minutes because the comando could not target my mind pool. letting me heal tell i could eventualy land a KD+dizzy.

how close were you when the fight was started? is it the fact that he hit you with such a high special or the fact that you were kited that would have had you killed. So at this point, either not being a medic yourself or having a medic beside you is still certain death in PvP for melee professions because of kiting and what not? How was the melee ranged increased?

i dunno what you guys are talking bout. I went to dathomir to test it on sisters and mountain clan npcs. bout 50% of the time they get knocked down with no dizzy effect from kd2. Of those times they did have dizzy and get knocked down 80% couldn't stand up. The other 20% stood up with dizzy still in effect with no problems. Even tried it with lunge/dizzy, which down't work at all on npcs. I found the best results was using dizzy hit then kd, and even then 2-3 out of 10 stood up like they never fixed dizzy/kd.

Now on animals, i had dizzy stick almost every time. And they didn't get up. But npcs are kinda iffy. And yes i'm master.

All right, but apart from the sanitation droids, bionic limbs, hyper-drive, moisture vaporators, galactic order, abolisment of slavery, star charts, the compact and efficient central government and interplanetary free trade, what has the Empire ever done?"

imagine someone like a BH staying at 60m constantly using a CDEF to KD us because of low HAM costs and then switching to a uber leet 9million dmg krayt enhanced scatter pistol and STILL spamming KD every 5 seconds to keep us from even moving. Dont they also have a shot that puts us on fire and a dizzy shot?

Except for the fact that BH attacks do about 20 dmg average now.

Just some info here after reading your thread. I am not trying to change anyone's mind about anything.

The BH Fire KD is like you KD2. The difference is that that it cost about 230 action to fire it, and it only lands dizzy in about 1 in 20 shots.

I have only been KD & dizzy'ed by a BH one time in all my PvP since July when the game started. On the other hand I get KD& dizzy'ed by the TKA's 95% of the time if I end up in range.

One writer said that the BH can just spam fire KD on them to keep range. This cannot be done due to KD timer and ham cost.

I am currently a BH, but I have not played since the patch. I have started a new account and I am going to build a TKA, Commando, or Combat Medic. Just researching now to decide. The TKA's are looking real good with the defenses, meditation (healing, poison, and bleeding), and KD & dizzy. As a maxed out BH character it use to take me about 3 minutes to kill a good TKA. That was using eye shot. I could hit a good opponent for about 80-100 damage. They would usually muon on me so I had 1600 mind or so to shoot down. Against the good TKA''s I rarely landed two shots in a row before they moved around an obstacle or ran into a building. Then they would regen the mind damage. I would guess against some of the best TKA's that I have had 10 minute fights. I dont see how to kill one now unless they sucked or if I caught them in the open with no cover.

So you are saying now that withonly a 5 second timer and the fact you can equip a CDEF to lower ham costs( or did they fix that?) that you wouldnt be able to kite a TKA if you were at 64m?
