You may want to try combo 1/2 since both target mind and the other pools. This is good becuase sometimes the person panics and keeps healing themselves, which drains their mind pool further.

Also remember that knockdown and change posture down are on two different timers, which can let you keep the person down.

Remember to powerboost, this can give you a lot more HAM.

Know your role, if you have no defense only go on the offense, and if you are all defense, stay to that.

If someone kites you, do not follow unless you know that you can catch up. Otherwise go in a building and make the most of your terrain (do you have terrain negotiation?).

I'd say that you have to keep your opponents intimidated at all times in PvP. I try to throw some other states in there every once in a while, but i dont bother trying to kd+dizzy fencers since their defenses are so high

I'd say the Stances and Grips line. The melee and ranged defense helps out a ton.

"What should I not worry about???"

If you're taking Fencer for defenses, obviously avoid the Fencing Finesse line since it does nothing if you aren't actually using a fencing weapon. Well, it does give you Combat Equilibrium bonuses, but only a total of +20.

You get a total of +44 to both ranged and melee defense if you do the Stances and Grips line. Really nice.

Footwork gives you defense vs KD and posture change of +50 each. Also very nice.

Technique gives you +40 vs Dizzy and Blind, and +20 vs Intimidate.

Basically, you should decide what kinds of defenses you want. Fencer gives you many to choose from.

you should only use UAH3 to blind

for damage combo1 and headhit are the best choices

lunge usually works better than KD, always keep you target intimidated... you can stack 2 ints, if a third hits it counts as one (so you need to land exactly two ints)

it usually works best if you int and stun, then KD2 (if it won't KD it'll most likely still dizzy), then lunge, DO NOT spam KD/lunge attacke and keep states applied

if you face groups try to warcy them and concentrate on one

I always open up with a KD/dizzy (I just like the animation as an opening move ), followed by stun, blind and intimidate. If lucky my opponent is lying on the ground dizzied. If not he most likely is dizzied and I put in a lung1 for the posture down and hope that sticks. After that it's usuallyeither headhit for the mind, hit3 for damage and keeping them blinded, combo2 (I should start doing more testing withcombo 1& 2to find out what the real advantage is of these) and keeping all the states on them. For jedi I almost always use hit3 the extra state and the random pool attacks force them to spend more Force in healing than if I only target 1 pool.

I have beaten armored people (I love stun armor for this) when unarmored myself on more than one occasion, if they aren't very experienced PvP'ers it's a good idea to go for the mind when they are wearing a full suit, I've seen many a fencer mind incap himself because of his armor.

in short: combo1 has highest avg dps on health...combo2 seems to suck

KD/lunge has a higher chance to stick on a target that is int/stun

"combo1 has highest avg dps on health.."

Explain to me this.

How does an attack that does 2x damage and divides its damage between mind and health outdamage an attack that does 2.5x damage and concentrates it entirely on health?

Even speed isn't a factor, because both have 2x delay modifiers.

That's impossible unless the specials are broken.

combo1 does appr. 2/3 of it's damage on health 1/3 to mind, combo2 does appr.1/3 to each UC1 shouldn't outdamage BH on health BUT IT DOES

try this, but REALLY do it

take 100 identical mobs, first fifty ONLY use UH3 and time how long it takes to bring em down

next fifty ONLY use combo1 and time it

you will see that combo1 will be faster then UH3on average

anyhow it's a well know fact that most TKM know (providing they surpassed the level of being a dizzy/KD UH3 one-trick-pony)

Sly, you didn't read what I wrote. I'm not talking about UAH3. I'm talking about Unarmed Body Hit. Did you forget we had such a thing?

Again, read my post. I posted why it's impossible for Combo1 to outdamage UBH. Please explain how that's possible since you claim that Combo1 does more dps to health than any other attack.

"look at the U blind UH3 fiasco: uh3 blinds more ofthen then U blind!"

That I have no problem with. In fact, it's probably on purpose. UH3 is the TKM ability. Blind comes from Unarmed III in Brawler.

It's like KD2 that knocks you down as well as KD1 and dizzies as well as Dizzy. It's an elite move.

I agree with you about doing 2 KDs in a row making a guy stand. That's all goofered up.
