Thank you. To tell you the truth, I'm starting to lose what very little faith I have left. Hence the title of this thread, probably a tad harsh but it sums up exactly how I feel at the moment.

There are all these great people on the forums providing test results, feedback and solutions.

And these are the people that get pushed to one side.

I want to thank you Opiium for your seemingly limitless patience, logical argument construction, and willingness to deal with unpleasant people. Your posts are well-though-out and your points valid. I see that there are individuals out there who are quite happy with Teras Kasi the way it is. I personally am enjoying it and have been able to work around the flaws, but I completely agree with all of your arguments. I'm just sad that those who disagree have to do so in such an antisocial and condescending way.

Keep your chin up, I for one appreciate your posts.

I totally agree with you Opiium. The devs did not listen. Our main issues were ham cost and kiting, and they made our ham cost outrageuous, and kiting impossible now with the timers.

They basically did exactly the opposite of what we asked. That is the number 1 reason I quit. I feel like they could careless what we think

Melee classes still are way better at PvE then range classes! I can take on so much more then my range friends as a melee. Why, because almost all creatures fight melee. And therefore melee is better.

Your basis for this ridiculous thoery is that "because almost all creatures fight melee"? Hah.

As someone who has mastered elite combat classes in both melee and ranged, I can tell you this is absolutely untrue.

Anyone with warning shot and bleed (low level abilities) can levelinfinitelyfaster (I assume that's what you mean by PvE) than any melee class. Ever fought 10+ snorbals at once as a melee, dropping them all in under 10 minutes? Nope, you sure haven't.

Thats why i like the mix - i feel (no proof) that my HAM goes down quicker when i've got my pistol out. So i bleed everything that is commin at me and go TK.... usually works unless thier are a LOT of mobs.... or I go over whatever limit this strategy gets me. <shrug>

"oh well.... The point is fun right? I'm having loads =-)"

Most people tend to forget this very important point.

Novice Marksman training....

250 Credits.

CDEF Pistol....

50 Credits.

The ability to run the same speed as a Teras Kasi Master while firing....

Priceless.

There are some things credits can't buy, but for everything you need to defeat a Teras Kasi Master there's the tutorial.

Melee better in PvE than ranged huh? Let me think about that.

As a TKA 0/1/1/1 I can SOMETIMES solo Snorbals, if lucky. Sometimes I can take a lower level Nym.

that's 0/1/1/1.

As a Novice Carbineer (arguably the WEAKEST of the ranged classes), I can solo Elder Snorbals effectively and with VERY LITTLE RISK.

Thats 0/0/0/0.

In the time I gain 100k unarmed Exp, I can easily gain 250 - 300 Carbine exp. And that's carbines. Pistols are even better!
