Greetings..
Here is my two cent on the subject.
Can you solo the corvette by fighting? NO.
Can you solo the corvette by running like a little scared girl? YES..
I have solo and help the non or low combat people from my guild get their badge from the corvette. With a little work and knowing where to go you should be able to finish the destroy mission in less then 10 mins. The rescue is a little harder, you have to be incap. or have a friend duel and incap. you. So you can get out of combat and talk to the people your rescuing.
What do I use.
Prof.: TKM/master Rifle with a little bit of medic. (First aid is really needed..)
Armor: Comp. with energy layers, Spare set in the droid in case of SBD death.
Food: Brandy, Pikatta Pie and Verupti
Spice: muon
I start out eating, power boosting and starting the COB macro. If I should died part way through, I use the moun and stim’s to finish the run. The big problem is decay because of death. The best way is to do only faction base corvette. If you killed by the Reb./IMP. your safe from the decay. (See above note on Armor.) Knowing where to go and what you need to do is the key part to the run. Do your homework on the layout and step need to finish the mission. The rest is runing screming down a hallway with everything and thier dog shooting at you...
Have fun..

Master Light/Dark/Grey/Puce Jedi
Master Vaderkillingbluelightningwithflamescomingoutofmybutt
Master Tango (for those tense moments nothing like a tango)
Master OfNoneJackOfAll (verypowerfull stacking)
Oh yea I got I got a Uber Nerf Bat (Damage 9999999999999999999999999999, nothing as yet has resists) I found laying by a NPC Combat Medic who was crying.

Greetings..
>Good post. However there is one problem with the food you eat. Pikkata pie is dodge food and dodge seems to >only work with fencer and pistoleer. Rendering the pikkata pie useless. Other than that, great post.
Check with the chef forums, this question about Dodge with eat air cake and Pikkata pie was put to the Dev. Check out the info below.
----------
How do dodge foods work? Do you need to have the skill or equip a pistol/1-handed weapon? And why don't I see "creature tries to hit you but you evade" in my combat spam?
The dodge bonus foods (Air Cake, Pikatta Pie, and Deneelian Fizz Pudding) are not actually giving a buff to the Dodge skill. What they do is add a bonus to the player's defensive skills, which determines whether or not an attack hits at all.
These foods will not cause you to see "creature attacks you but you evade" in your combat spam. They should cause more attacks to miss you completely. If a hit does occur despite the food's bonus, then any evasion skills (dodge, counter, block) the player has may trigger, but that is separate from the effect of the food.
Since the bonus is added to the defensive skills of the general to-hit formula, it benefits anyone being attacked, whether or not they have the dodge skill.
The raw benefit you receive would depend on your existing defensive skills (melee/ranged defense, center of balance, etc) and the offensive skills of your attacker (weapon accuracy, bonus from posture, range modifier from weapon, etc). Someone with only 20 in defensive skills may see a large difference after eating a +20 Pikatta Pie. A master of an elite combat profession may see a smaller percentage increase in missed attacks since the Pie's +20 has a smaller contribution relative to their inherent

im currently working on soloing the corvette, ive tried a few times, managed to get the av-21 power plant, and, about 3/4 the way through the reb destroy mission, the hardest part for me is, sometimes, in the engineroom, the sbd's kill me before i even go through the door, so, i cant get incapped and run, they just kill me, sometimes incapp, but, they incapp again as soon as i get up, so, i cant move the rest of the trip. this happen to anyone?

He probably doesn't truely solo the corvette. He probably does the destroy or rescue missions and just runs through it without actually fighting. I know there are quite a few people who do this just to get the badges.
running through it and hitting all loot points and completing the mission is truely doing it. your not supposed to kill everything full groups dont kill everything. the point is to do the objectives to get the badge and the schem, and if that means killing nothing or killing a few things then that is doing it. I solo the vette often and honestly what these guys are saying is correct however for effeciency purposes meele profs are important. i recomend any elite meele prof and some medic anything else you wanna do is your personal choice. the main trick to the vette is knowing the layout and being able to transition fluidly between each objective.. it takes some time to get the hang of it

or they do it for the av-21 power plants.. after a group of ppl with me go to the DWB tonight.... im going to actually try to solo it ( of course ill run from the SBD tho =/ )
I tried to truely solo one of the neutral ones, since the Corsec have low blast resists, and ended up taking the escape pod after about 10 minutes. I could handle the Soldiers with 15k HAM but when I had 3 of the high HAM guys on me at once it was useless since I don't have ranged mitigation and they don't switch to melee. I may try again and be more careful and try to take them one at a time and see what happens.

There are 3 things that I'd recommend that can help:
1. Make sure you have some active synthsteak when you enter the room. I don't typically eat any until I'm about to enter a room I know to have SBDs in it so that I am assured that it will be helping me when they start shooting.
2. I have not had great success with this, but a guildmate of mine has. There seems to be a limit to the number of NPCs that can have aggro drawn on you at one time. If you go to the upper level, almost all of those guys will aggro you, but you can escape them by using the elevator. Despite being on a different level of the dungeon, they will still be aggro on you. This can limit the number of SBDs shooting at you at once in the engine room. Like I said, I haven't had great success with this, but my guild mate swears by it.
3. Hero of Tat Ring. On the Destroy, you have to go into the engine room at least once. You can buy yourself an extra incapp chance if you are wearing a Hero of Tat ring. In the best case scenario, they incapp you 3 times and advance in the room with each incapp, ultimately resulting in a death. You then self-rez and get 1 more chance. Make sure you note the use interval on the ring, though. I made the mistake of going up 2 days in a row and the second day my use timer on the ring hadn't expired yet so I had to go without it.
I hope that helps.

Like i saw before, just a smuggler 0010 can solo it easily. Only one you can't do with that skill is assassinate, but you should bring a big group for that anyway. Just FD whenever your getting near death, and you can solo destroy. Do the same for rescue, and FD in the room with the prisoners. Kills your agro and you can talk.

i've solo'd both destroy and rescue missions, for destroy i killed MOST but not all of the ppl and rescue same thing.. I am almost postive i could do the assastinate as the only difference from that and the destroy is the fact that you have to kill a rebel admiral (VERY LOW blast res) im going to try it soon, but they are very easily soloable

There is no real template for soloing the destroy and rescue missions.
I've done the destroy mission solo with absolutely no combat skills (as in no novice marksman or brawler). All it takes is good buffs, good armor, and a good idea of what you're doing.
The rescue mission is the same if you have the Hero ring - good armor, good buffs, good strategy, and no combat skill required.
Never done the assasianate mission solo. Don't know anyone personally who has.
