I enjoyed the Matrix trilogy (yes, all 3 movies). I really, really wanted to get into MxO. I was looking forward to continued input from the Wachowski brothers, who are writing story arc events for the game.
I logged into the beta 3 times. Customer service considered a matter resolved after 48 hours, even if those 48 hours were server downtime. Maybe I'll see what they've done with it in a year, but right now they couldn't pay me to play.

MxO is pretty cool, its way more story-driven, and some of the coder stuff is pretty original, but it is not in any way a match for swg IMO. The combat system is... weird, and it can be extremely confusing especially as far as pvp.
The martial arts aspects of the game are pretty cool, i haven't advanced that far with respect to that stuff though. And yes, at times the beta makes me cry because it is so... not fun.
