Ok, what about TKM/Master Commando then? In the current system they are fairly equally matched for ranged defense, will this change? Cause having a TKM/melee template, simply so you can play on the melee side of things, kinda makes you vulnerable to ranged attacks.
And I dunno....I like the idea of TKM/Master Commando. Like a soldier with a brain, and a sense of spirit.
I'll just shut up now

A jack of all trades is a master of none.
A master of one thing, fails at all else.
A TKM/Swordsman will be an uber tank, but wont go as well against multiple targets as a TKM/Pikeman.
A TKM/Ranged guy is very versatile, but doesnt extremly excel at any one aspect.

TKA as a choice of non-Jedi skill for LOW LEVEL Jedi is a given. Good defenses, meditate and powerboost. Thats why people choose it or fencer as non-Jedi skills. Post CU,people working up Jedi will still take TKM so they can get good armor, but to replace that a maxed template Jedi doesn't need TKA, they'll have Jedi Defender.

The only thing that concerns me is TKA/Jedi. That could very well become FOTM. Fortunately you can't just pick up Jedi casually, so you won't see an overwhelming number of them. But I'm afraid almost every Jedi you run into will have TKA.

TKM/Defender wouldn't do much damage. If a TKM/Defender wants to run around and dodge bullets all day so be it.

yeah, TKM/MDefender template woudn't be soeffective cause it's all defensive.
but, how about TKM/MPower and some enhancer to get FR2 or something?
Surely youdon't want TKM who can use force powers and force run at you?
well... but Teras Kasi who use force powers sounds kinda cool and somewhat understandable to me,
so i can accept it....

Powers uses ranged accuracy, to be effective you'd want TKM/Master LS, TKM gives some general melee accuracy, but why go TKM/Jedi anything? Defender beats TKM for defenses.

Because I thought maybe having TKM and get some offence and diffence at the same time
would be better than having Defender and get better deffence but no offensive abilities.
In addition, you get the improvedforce speed which enhances the speed of TKA moves,
(and Powers moves aswell) and force suppression which is a 'root' move.
If you take only Jedi skills, it will be a take "good offence and low defence" or "great diffence and
low offence". and LS specials will nowcost force and action+mind, so using LS specials
and force powers will be force intensive, thus will be instable.
and considering that we now have cooldown, doing aTKA move and doing a power during its
cooldown would be efficient and mightresult in a better DPS than when you have MDefender/MLS
or something.
ok,I admit it, abovemaybe the 30% of my reason. the rest of the reason is that Ilike the idea
of TKM using force powers cause it sounds so cool!! kinda like the emperor!!
(I know in theep3 trailer he had his LS but....)

Dunno why people thought the CU was supposed to discourage stacking. Actually stacking is an important part of SWG and the CU will help that out by letting specials cross over between professions.

Jedi can master 2 and 1/2 the 5 skill trees. Master Ligthsaber (good offence) and Master Defender (best defense) is not impossible. A maxed template Jedi would not be outdone by any player with partial Jedi skills or non Jedi skills only.

Specials working across weapons isn't bad, they stripped down the specials and then spread them accross the elite and novice skill lines. Stacking defenses isn't as effective as it is now though. TKA get extra Unarmed Defenses that are only effective while unarmed, but you could stack the melee and ranged defenses from TKA and another profession, and if it holds out, you can use another weapon while UNARMORED and get the benefits of Innate TKA armor.

It be nice to get some info cause Im being told different things.
Eitherway if all TKM defense dont carry over with what ever weapon we have in hand, All TKM/combat professtions are worthless because you wont be able to switch mid pvp and if you do you wont have armor

if what man kind said is true then what is to stop people from TKM/Swordsman then getting super defenses and super offense. I thought they were trying to limit stacking, this seems to really enhance it.
