i dabbled in this template for awhile too and found very few advantages, however they do exists LD, and FD are my favorite moves, and the states help, but if you want a hybrid its not the way to go, the best hybrid melee/ranged i tried was master pistols/tkm/smuggler 4020 it was fun and i was formidable in pve and pvp, pistoleer just has more benefits then smuggler to complement tkm right now, when they get the smuggler revamp done, it will be totally different though, due to the new brawler style moves they are thinking about implementing hehe i here they are quite like boxing sounds fun

I just want to know where you got the extra 57 skillpoints to get master Doc, TKM and Master Smuggler. I would love to have that template if it were possible.

Template I use is Marks 0404/brawler 4040/ TKM and Master Smug/ Medic 0040
Was medic 4040 until i had to drop some skill points for something else.
Phenominal soloing template.
solo'd the katarn with this template. Never dabled in master brawler, might be worth it though.

Master TK and master smuggler myself....FD /pause 1 /stand helps a bit in a tricky situation, and use last ditch a bit if needed. Mainly rely on TK though (wish the defense was better...2 lvl 60's can be a ww bit troublesome).

I am exactly that, the last of the skill points is in novice pikeman, swordsman, and fencer.
I love it, no armour cost, and I only use 2 guns, saves alot of money, can tank if need be, or be the crowd control of the group if there is already a tank. Yeah it is not that strong, but don't really care about that

I guess the reason i keep this template.. over all else.. is because when i started playing at launch.. the TKs were so bad ass.. So i always wanted to be a tk, and now i am so id hate to drop it... also.. smuggler is cool from the RP perspective..
I like holding my own with my bare hands.. sure maybe i will get merked in a fight against a huge rifle, but at leaste i went out using my god givin hands.. instead of relying on a huge blaster... and besides.. IRL the skinniest dude with a rifle could kill anyone...
so basically... after making this blabber of sensless vocab...
I enjoy this template from an RP perspective more than anything else.. i rarely PVP, and i consider myself a Pilot more than anything.. when im on the ground i just need to be able to back it up.. which i do with my bare hands..
bring a rifle, and yes you can kill me..
plus i can sell drugs which is pretty cool...
Master brawler also backs up my TK, and helps in the badassness...
