CoB has to be the worst idea ever,to have so much of your tanking powertied up in aself-buff that lasts less than a minute and is troublesome to keep on, is just stupid. It shouldbe thrown out and replaced by+25 Defense in every single box of TK.. problem solved

I like that idea of having different specials for defense....we are supposed to specialize in avoidance, a special that would say give us a + for dodge ina certain amount of time would be nice...if dodge is still in the game that is

Hey BH are in the same boat... "One on One combat specialists with a secondary aspect of mitigation" sadly, in what is a ranged combat focused profession which implies constant movement, Duellist Stance suffers the same "stand still" penalty as CoB. And I am doubly hosed as I have one TKM/MCM toon and one MBH/MR toon, dangit!
"Tarkin: "The Jedi are extinct. You my friend are all that remains of their religion."
Vader: "You don't get out much, do you?""
Oh, and that has to be one of the best sigs I have seen in a long long time!

Personnally, I don't mind COB the way it is, andI don't even use a macro.
If it was a toggle, it would probablyhave not only an activation cost, but also an "action cost over time" , or something thatwouldaffect your action regen rate. Considering the importance of action regen, I'm not sure I would like that. It depends on the implementation.
I don't think that "always on" without any cost, or +500 defense spread out over our skill boxes, are realistic expectations. It would bringthe gameback to the pre-CU defense stacking situation, before defenses were capped.
I dueled a ranged guy tonight, and he was already complaining that he "was barelydoing any damage", which--to be honest--is not too far from the truth. His opening KD hurt, but after that there was no contest. I believe he was MBH/Carbineer. Riflemen are more difficult.
