Teras Kasi Archive

Thanks Nova. That will give me a good start without a doubt. As far as things related to SWG go with the Teras Kasi. I'm unclear how people are to make final judgements on an MMORPG of any type when it's just a little over a month after release. Every game I've played has had issues to be addressed during at least the first 6 months or so. It's not a failing of the Dev's in any way. It's simply a transition from maybe a few thousand players to over a hundred thousand.

Over the next few months things will be a bit of a roller coaster at times with some patches and such. But after that it will start leveling off as a rough balance is achieved.

I know it's not a popular opinion on the boards right now, but it is hwat I believe.

Well, if that's when all the Jedi are supposed to be killed off, perhaps they will have some role in helping.

Too bad this game will be all but dead by the time that comes out. It would be funny to watch Koster try to talk his way out of making Teras Kasi in SWG what they are supposed to be.

Considering I've read nearly every Star Wars book to date and play the D20 RPG for Wizards of the Coast, I think I can help you out on Teras Kasi information:

-Shadows of the Empire includes information on two sisters that are practicioners of Teras Kasi.

-Arden Lyn, an Emperor's Hand, is a Master of Teras Kasi. Sources include a video game and several comic series.

-The New Jedi Order's fifth novel: Agents of Chaos II: Jedi Eclipse features the Hapan prince, Isolder, in a Teras Kasi fight with another member of the Hapan court.

-The real Star Wars RPG has a supplement out called the Hero's Guide, which features information on Teras Kasi artists and feats.

-Specter of the Past and Vision of the Future, by Timothy Zahn feature Shada Du'kal (a Mistryl Shadow Guard). While not a practicioner of Teras Kasi, she is quite the martial artist.
