Thread: Teras Kasi kick ass.
hehe guys, iv tryed almost any tactic , if you can beat the ranged dudes they suck at using thir skills. Who would be stupid to run after a melee class ? lol no way in hell. Whitout TEF exploite TKA is just a target waiting to get killed. And please remember i was TKA master! So i know what im talking about.
Now im Commando and ill bet ill take u all out just using my overcharge 2 from marksman line. A novice marksman can kill TKA masters easy if they not to noob.
when me and my fellow imps raid anchorhead i go straight to the cloning center and pin them all in there.its actually funny cause they get so nervous and cant get out..i am tk master and all i do is kd2 and unarmed hit 3 and they are cloning again .last week i had 27 kills and 3 deaths ...lmao
its funny cause they camp the med cntr and cloning facility so i started doing it...and they call me cheap
they also sent a master swordsman in to get me..he lasted 5 seconds with my low ham 190 dmg knucks...so you just have to find a strategy that works, because when you do get in range they have no chance
oh well thats just what works for me.

Lol, being a TKM doesn't mean you "know" what you're talking about, getting TKM was extremely easy early on. Obviously you don't because you kept getting killed by ranged. Funny thing is nearly all my kills are ranged opponents and I have very (emphasize very) few deaths.
And a novice marksmen killing a TKM? For that to happenthe TKM would have to a)suck b) be AFK c)be caught out in an area on a planet with no structures for miles around and have NO other profession d) just used force of will from another fightor e) all of the above.
And your commando comment makes me laugh. Cool, I wanna be l337 and use a power-template like other l337 power-players. Sorry, dumping a harder PvP profession for an easy profession doesn't give you any credit here, in fact you lose it. On Corbantis we already had a very large Bounty Hunter population, now werecently had apopulation explosionof Commandos. Funny thing was you could prolly count Corbantis Commandos with your fingers prior to the patch (I was one of them - dropped it when they were going to turn us into glorified pistoleers) and now they're everywhere.
i definitely agree with mrkracs, in fact ALL of my kills have been against ranged opponents, in fact i rarely run into another tka , that could be due to the fact that they like me just use novice titles to throw off the opponent, but seriously all my kills have been against ranged, (except one newbie brawler, who wanted to duel me, he went down in two hits), the only time i have died is when i have been
a) trading
b)afk
c) hit by a commando
d) attacked by 5 people at once
e) hit by some super pet like an arachne warrior
otherwise i usually come on top, you just have to use some tactics, like me im a CH as well, send in your pet in after them, and usually theyll be shooting at your pet and never notice your right behind them till kd, unarmed 2 takes them down to death

Amen...like Jar Jar insisted he was intelligent just cause he could speak...HA
It's ALL about fighting on YOUR turf. I HOPE you die if you let someone kite you. Every single time I'm in a fight with ranged I duck into somewhere to even things up. If he follows, he's dead. If I follow him, it's because I have a very good feeling like I can do something to catch them cause they don't know their class well enough...and even then...I make a note in my head not to get angry or disappointed if I die, because I chose to let him kite me. It's MY fault.....as it was yours.....XimmolatusX.
TKM means nothing...TKM that knows himself and his opponents strengths/weaknesses....that's death waiting to happen.
"TKA sux bigtime unless your all PvE. I just surrendered my TKA master to go Ranged and CH and why do this ? Well a TKA will loose ANY duel if he fights a ranged player UNLESS he exploite the TEF bug and sneek atatck."
Well, I certainly don't blame you. Ranged/CH is an extraordinarily powerful combo. Even more powerful is CH/Doctor. Of course, I continue to think that the CH profession is insanely overpowered ... but apparently I'm the only one who thinks this.
Until SOE gives TKA some advantages (speed increases, defenses that are actually usable, a /stick command, etc.), PvP is more or less a lost cause. Sure, you can have your moments where you actually land a lunge that works, or you actually knock down aguy who is standing next to you (imagine that), but for the most part, you will get'owned' .... and owned often,I might add.
At this point, TKA's cannot compete against creature handlers with insanely powerful pets, or bounty hunters using cheap,I-need-no-skill-whatsoevermoves (like eye shot), and of course the whole kiting-and-fighting issues, which takes into account most of the other combat professions. Even swordsman and fencers have head shots and bleeds, respectively ... and pikemen can do tremendous damage, even at low level.
No doubt about it, TKA need some love from the devs. ![]()
Let's hope they deliver.
Hypothetical question:
Who here seems to have the right(we all have the right to exprees ourselves) to make a "fact" or "truth" comment about this profession?
1). The player that cannot seem to win at all or very few times PvE or PvP or both and as a consequence, quits the profession and than posts here later or while they'll having the difficulties even.
or
2). The player that seems to have figured out one or more ways to make their profession work and has much success and their ratio of kills/deaths and their success in PvE is great?
I mean, really, putting it blunty, if you suck, you can hardly speak for the rest of us or the class when you say that IT sucks...think about it.
I tear PvE and PvP up...and do SO many of us...and the number seems to be increasing exponentially lately...and that's AWESOME to hear. Keep up the good work, and though I know(I KNOW) that many won't see this and fewer will heed it's statements, I feel the need to express myself here and that's what these forums are for, right? So, I've done it, and now done, I realize that that's what they (the suckers) were doing to...expressing their frustrations so I suggest this:
Contact a master or at least someone you ask around and hear good things about in-game. Find them and learn from them until you're having success too or at the very least, you two can form guild of frustrated TK's and spend your guild-meetings venting to one another and not posting "the truth about PvP and TKs" threads.
If you had a choice mechanics to fix your car and one had the attitude of "Man, these darn cars, I just can't figure them out. They suck" or one that said "Yea, I've had plenty of experience, I was frustrated at first, but I worked through it and I consider myself knowledgeable and have had much success". Which would you choose?
