or they could pay a few bonus credits per actual animal you kill, not many creds just like 100 so if you actually kill the animal you get something for it other than the ability to harvest it's hide (which also can be sold for profit)

You know what, I don't think it's an exploit....

for one, this is what I do myself, except my goal is not to kill the lair and leave the spawns. when I'm grinding and yes even when I'm doing the missions for just money, I head straight to the lair and start whacking away......but the difference is that just like ArkMindSpearsaid....I use an area attack like a spinning move....which not only attacks the lair but it attacks the spawns as well.....the difference here is that the spawns are still ignoring you because they are too busy trying to heal the lair.....but you are still killing them off as you hit the lair.

This kind of think is only possible because once your a master or high enough level in your professions, we can do so much damage (most professions anyway) that you can kill lair, spawns and all at once. Saves time and a lot of useless fighting.

Now if the devs actually did raise the HAM of the lairs to stop people from just killing the lairs and not the spawns, I still don't think it's an exploit.....it's just a misjudgment on the devs part....what should have been nerfed is the ability to outdamage 2 or more spawns that are obviously high level enough to net 36k. If 2 rancors are doing nothing but healing a lair, you can increase the amount of the heals they do, or increase the speed at which they heal the lair.....this would stop any profession from damaging the lair faster than the spawns can heal it.

I personally like it the way it is now.....it's not that much of a problem.....the economy is out of control as it is and nerfing the missions won't change anything now that the money is already out there.

Last thing, the devs have already stated that they didn't intend for a solo player to be able to take down a red con by themselves too easily......when you allow us to group with 19 other players to spawn harder missions and still let us keep the mission after disbanding or being out of range......you can't call taking out only the lair an exploit....if anything the high payment of the mission incourages this kind of behavoir....who wants to spend 2 weeks to make a million credits when you can easily do it in an hour.......However it goes, the whole combat revamp is gonna change a lot of things that we do now......who knows, we might not be able to even reach 2k damage by then.....the devs are doing their best to make us weaker and prolong the time in which it takes to do anything in this game....that's how they're gonna make their money....keep'em playing is their main goal.....how...make it harder and longer for them to get what they really want......so sad but so true....

I don't think it matters if people think this is an exploit or not, what matters is the people who made the game have already stated this and yes this is why the lairs now have some many points. They even said that people destroying lairs while killing it's defenders was not as intended.

LOL... sounds like someone still buys credits on ebay.

No reason to flame the guy, if you haven't figured out how to get rich using your profession (at least most of them), your doing something wrong.

MasterCH/Commando - 90k in ten minutes,...killing humanoids in advanced market using Flamecone2.

Master Doctor - 150k in 15 minutes buffing in theed or coronet

Master Architect and Master Weaponsmith - Selling Quality items and advertising yourself.....(start offering bad ass weapons on auction at bazaar so people know you you are)

Resource Sellers - collect resoureces and sell them to all holo grinders and architects and weponsmiths who cant keep up with supply..

.... don't jump on the guy for knowing how to play his toon... learn yours.

i usually run janta missions while grouped with my atst. i stay grouped with it while its parked at a player city thats always dead and has a mission term. in a 2hr session i can make at least 700k and as much as 800k ( 2 hr buff). i could probably double that amount if i just killed the lair, but i actually like looting the jantas. as a tkm master doc the janta blood is a welcome bonus. my 2nd account is a armorsmith and i use the janta hides as well.

i dont think it should be considered an expolit by just destroying the lairs. its just a faster way to make credits. when you have to balance game time between 3 chars (in my case 2 accounts and a jedi) getting the most out of time is key. heh i should start running rancor missions myself lol

Really? I'm on radiant. I'm not a doc myself but have a friend and two other regular docs who have told me. In corellia, you will see as many as 15 people in line (literally, one behind the other) waiting for buffs. Sometimes two lines with two doctors.

Another key thing to do is carry crates of stim b's (seem to be themost popular)with you. Sell it on the spot to the same people you are buffing. Easy 50k+ more - i'm a sucker for those if you can save me the time of having to run to a shop.

No imp I haven't stooped to buying credits on e-bay, if you can't ern it then you don't need it.

untill verey recently I was holding an average balance of 2.5 million credits, but due to a recent bug that SoE is unwilling to assist me with I'm now down to 1/10 of that.

if I were to "group" with 20-30 people then yeah probably I could scam the game for that mutch credits but you know what, I don't sit there day after day thinking up ways to rip the game off.....

hmm you know what.. maybe I should, to recoup the three million I just lost

im on farstar people are wanting buffs all the time and you do get the big queue's but most do not want to pay anymore than 6 to 8k for a full set of buff's all hitting 2.2kper stat(my stats) with out using bivoli and if you charge more they accuse you of ripping them off and being greedy (been alot of threads about it in the forums), i put my prices up to 10k afew weeks ago it was about 50/50 for who would pay and gave me greef, over the last few days iv now stpped buffing the public unless its someone i know or iv just missed the shuttle and have a 8min wait, then tbh is sooner not bother, stim b do sell well, mine current B's are 38/420 which i sell on the bazaar.
