Because the KD animations use arms & not legs?

And it is better to delete the animation and use the one for default attack??(which is also apunch without leg usehalf the time)

I'd sooner it's a default attack that we can ask to be replaced with something else (a 100% chance of a default kick would be great for now) then have it assigned an animation that is anything but a kick.

Keep in mind also that the animations we have seen so far are only the low level stuff. The last thing we want is all our good animations used up before we see some of the improved & advanced moves.

Also some of our animations now only seem to apear if we get a move from another proffesion. So keeping that in mind personly I think the more basic the moves are at the early stages the better, it will give a much more unique look to each players play style deppending on their template.

Would be great if it comes so,the idea about only punch(maybe for armorbreak)and only kick default attack for some moves is also nice.


btw. i think i know why we need 2h for teras kasi


because armor break fits so good tous:its a special teras kasi ability in the d20 star wars roleyplay game and the pike sistersfought against armored oponents with ease.

It would be great if we get animations for all moves(exept intimidate,berserk and warcry)from other (melee)profession.


But as far as i know,all brawler(just brawler,not swordman and so on)animations exept lunge got the default animation with white stripes(at least at the moment).

At the moment many brawler moves are, but yes just brawler, they have some extra effects but at the moment they are basic moves. Most the moves get upgraded to Improved & Advanced moves, the fact that most the brawler moves are just default animations, in my opinion, keeps a nice look of it been low level fighting. & then as you become more advance as do your animations & you look like you know more about what you are doing.

Unarmed combo attack is looking awesome. I'm doing 450-500 damage right now on most mobs and doing it quick (I'm 0021). I am still taking a LOT of damage when I get hit. I may have to invest in the improved COB -- I can do it now but I was training for the blaster fist.

So we have now started testing the profession we all know & love, Teräs Käsi. But what do you make of it so far?


Slow after getting TKA novice. It feels too much like Jedi grinding. Mobs either need to die faster, give better xp expecially when grouped. There is not much difference in xp when dong solo and grouped ( Level 56 group yesterday).


Some questions to consider (but add more as well):

- How does the game play feel?


Level based PvE feels restricting and artificial. levelling itself is tedious and boring with little reward in terms of xp gain. I am either going around the planet looking for white/yellow mobs to level with or just doing missions (currently broken) that whether grouped or not give the same xp.

- Are you finding it viable to tank stuff at your group’s level?


No. But then I'm only 0010 TKA so it may get better. Our doc just has to sit around and do nothing else but spam heals. Bad with the bacta spray bloom as it lags everything.

- What concerns do you have? (If any)


The level damage multiplier may be game breaking. Any mob over 3 levels above you can 1 hit kill you even if you are just passing by on your bike. This is true regardless of buffs and armor.

- What do you really like?
The ability to self heal. The removal of buffs. Maybe the innate TKA armor but I have yet to test it since just getting 175k of xp means killing 175 creatures that are the same level as I and is tedious.



- Can you see how we are going to fit in to the role of tank?


As it stands no. Crowd damage and crowd control were not assigned to us so pikeman would probably be a better tank. As it is TKA damage is low end if the group high end damager (rifleman) hits the mob it will immediately agro it. TKA can taunt 1 or 2 but with more than that then TKA loses its purpose even if we have high dodge, damage mitigation as we would be hard pressed to have the mobs agro us. Maybe an area taunt?

But remember to add more then that, just used those as something to start with.

At the moment it's the default attack - Keep in mind theres two levels of improments though so it should be a good animation.
