I'm planning on keeping most of my skills, but I'll respec around a little bit. Respeccing to:
TKM
0034 Swordsman
4000 Commando
4000 BH
I'm gonna play with this a bit and if it doesn't work out well I'm going for:
TKM 0034 Swordsman
MBrawler
4040 Commando
Both of these builds are pretty good numbers-wise and also involve my favorite profession: TKWith PvE its the same way. You'll get an average of 300-600 damage per hit for level 80 mobs even if you are level 80. The best way to mitigate that if you are grinding is to group with healers and tanks and ranged damage dealers.Oh and commando by itself is useless as it doesn't have any specials by itself. You have to combine ranged with ranged and melee with melee to get the full benefits.Things may still change though. This CU is rushed and will be in beta for the next 2 years.
lol..hmm.. that sounds familiar .. but like what? i jsut can't put my finger on it...
hehe yeah .. if you dont ahve combat level 80, youll be pretty sahfted. i had an awesome melee dabbling proff all planned when i heard tk really needed no armor. tkm , master brawler, and dabbling in all 3 otehrs for specials ...
then i took that to tc and only got a mid 60's combat level, thus disadvantaged before even beginning.
the cu discourages: dabbling, melee/ranged combos

from the testing I did on TC, the first template is lv 75 and the second is 80. Those are pretty close, and I don't do a lot of PvP so its still up in the air for me, I'll probably go with the second build to get combat level 80 though for the purpose of being able to PvP when I want to. oh, and the flamethrower is cool
I am primarily a PVE player, and this seems like it might be an effective PVE combination.
Thanks,
Perkins

What are peoples opinions on TKM / M Brawler / M Fencer?

u r lvl 80 and have most of our old specials
this is where im going with the profession but havent tested it since i dont have enough respec points to do it
What do you guys think of this template for a super melee tank/crowd controller/resurrector. I am not sure if i have enough SP's to make ths happen, so point that out too. I loved TKM/MPIKES but i need to have some rez to rez my poor jedi.
TKM/Master Pikemen, 4x4x medic, and 1 tree in doctor (whichever one has resurrect in it).
Great Tanking, area knockdown, area attacks, impale (good damage), dizzy heals, powerboost, all that
plus, resurrect for when you don't tank so good and your party dies.
Is it possible with SP's?
I was going around this morning and fighting different things to see the effects. Looked like everything (quenkers, durni's, grunda's, kliknik) was doing 17 to 25 points with every attack. I pressed the focus button (the one that increases your ability to evade attacks), and it was really doing nothing. Everything almost always hit, hell the durni had a better success rate at hitting me then a quenker. So a little saddened I continued and realized, boy am I slow in attacking. Then another realization...if you dont attack with a special, you dont attack at all...so while these cirtters are nailing me 25 points at a time, I have to wait for them to hit about 3 to 5 times before I can even hit back.
So the question I have is: Do we get a basic attack like we use to or do we have to do specials all the time?
Oh, everytime I knocked down a person after dizzy attack, they would pop back up on their own, no flopping or anything.

DAMN! CM's are supposed to get a revive ability too... where is that in their trees?
