A) Nerfs are bad for buisness. They are having enough fun trying to get people to keep playing.

B) A lot of professions should be boosted some, buff them not nerf TKA.

C) No matter what a TKA does in PvE, they still aren't exclusively powerful in PvP by any means. In fact, no single profession is, it takes a combo of professions to excel in PvP it seems.

D) I'm a wookie. What's the point? Well, I don't have the luxury of composite or ubese armor to carry me along. Shield generator? All but useless.If my damage went down I would be useless. If I lost the skills I have I would be useless. Or, I could give in, sell out, and pick up a gun and be Zabraklike everyone else and stay safe from range and take up creature handling. No thanks. In fact, I can't imagine being able to do this profession without the skill of novice medic or a medic with me just to keep me standing against mobs that most people solo with ease. Yelling nerf TKA is just uncalled for.

BTW you can't really compare a tka to a swordsman using a power hammer as the power hammer does blast damage rather than kinetic so unless the resists are the same then the comparison is totally useless.

Ive collectively decided that the ones who post topics such as these are complete morons and take pleasure of screwing up a class so that they can jump onto the next "uber" bandwagon so that they can say that thats too uber and needs to be nerfed.

You see, they enjoy this. screwing people over. they dont really care, they come in here, thinking they know it all, where the class has been and how it balances with the rest of the classes. If am not wrong, any class with buffs can solo a rancor. and get this, other classes do it from asafer distance if they are not melee and have the option to choose higher AP weapons which also fire at god d-a-m-n 1 shot every sec.

But these people dont understand, nor do they actually take the time to because they get their rocks off feeling that they levelled this class so easy. well, let me tell you something buddy, im going to be here, even if fcuk-heads like you manage to get the class nerfed because there are players around here that like the fun in being a TKA, that sensation of going up close and personal with the target and even though we may get nerfed again, we WILL rise again. we've been there and yes, im sure we'll see your candy @ss as a TKA again along with the rest of your candy @ss kind

Oh, and if you like impossibility, go be a dancer/musician/master entertainer and try and solo a rancor. or better yet, as a "TKA" go solo a nightsister elder on your own, with buffs, stims, drugs food etc. hell bring a medicor doc to heal youbut only use your VKs or fists. oh, that wont be considered as soloing would it. hmm thats ok, try that anyway

You were buffed in full comp and using food.... ya I could solo a 10k ham rancor to.. especially since the devs in there last revamp nerfed the Rancors so there not nearly as tough as they were. Why do you think most CH get bio-pets now? its b/c the ones in the wild pretty much sux. You know what I dont get is that its been MONTHS and after whine whine whine.. now people are saying meditation is overpowered.. geezus when arent you people going to **edit** and let us be. I dropped BH to go TK back in September of 03 like 3 weeks into game release, we sucked and it was pure hell to lvl. Any combat class in this game can solo a rancor to some alot faster than a TK can, I watch commando's do it why are they ok the way they are? I watch Hvy Swords do it no whines there? I had a carbineer spam charge shot on me KD over and over yesterday in AH.. working as intended tho? point is quit your crying and get over it, think TK is overpowered then gtfo and move on. I can tell you this much tho I hit a guy yesterday in pvp for 1100 damage.... That to me is INSANE!!! best part about it I was using my gaffistick.. so no more whines about TK I can hit just as hard with my Fencer moves.

you know what? its not my fault the monsters con red when they should obviously con white or blue. Its the devs fault for having a stupid system for guessing if a player could take on this monster or not.

The system is flawed not the players...get your head outa yer ass.

1. " Tka are tanks we should be able to aborb dammage" .. agreed.. but.. BUT .. do you even freaking know what a tank really is??? a true tank?? (mmorpg tank that is) It is a role that is played by a GROUP MEMBER to keep the aggro on him .. he aborbs the dammage for THE REST OF THE PARTY so the tough target can be killed..

Keny: GROUP .. aka tka/medic/commando .. i agree should be able to kill 2 maybe 3 rancors at the same time...

Not 1 player solo!

2. con system is flawed.. but if they should con white/blue to me then they should lowere tka and up rancors... my god man .. i can walk up to 4 .. non juvinile rancors.. beat them and barely have if any downtime.. SOLO .. this is wrong.

1. how to fix..

a. Warshout timer.. put it on a 45 second timer...

My god .. let's look how you can solo about anything as just a tka ....

1. knock it down...
once you do this .. warshout it..

now it stays down..

let's see .. wha is the timer for kd? .. what is thetimer for shout... oh yea.. just kd/warshout it again... and again.... and again... (it's the tka's vpe (creature) dizzy/kd ...) and yes you can somewha spam it..

When i was a master bounty hunter i'd run from those rancors.. i'd run from those nightsisters..they'd had me my ass solo .. in a group it was doable.. but as a tka/commando.. bring those pretties on.. no prob.. as soon as i master tka i'm going crystal farming since pearls are hard to get.. Then again .. a hybird tka/medic may be able to solo one ... (mind buffs/foods/flamesingle2,flamesingle1/healthbuffs) maybe just juvinele ones but ya get the idea..

Remeber tanks are a support class also.. I'm sue devs din't inted a tka to walk into a den of rancors and walk out with minor scratches .. whe a jedi looks at that den and says screw that noise!

Is it just me, or does it look like this guy just took a screenie of any old dead rancors and said he killed them. This guy could have been grouped, or came along after a group, got rid of his windows, and took a pic that is meaningless.

Also, there is not combat class in the game that armored and buffed can't take out a Rancor.

Lastly, melee are supposed to take you down in 2 hits. That is if you are dumb enough to just stand there. I lose every time in PvP when the guy I'm fighting RUNS instead of standing there with his rifle like a dork.

lol .. umm if he's running from you there is a little button called.. unarmed lunge .. wow and ti's got awsome range.. maybe you should use it .. then do a warshout.. then a dk/dizz.. then collect your db pellet..

Just please shut up and go away already. What are you trying to accomplish? All you are doing is ticking people off with your opinion on how a profession should be played. Any melee profession can solo a rancor. You are calling for a TKA nerf because of knockdown + warcry + heavy damage. ANY melee can do that. ANY melee with master brawlercan knockdown and warcry. ANY master elite melee is fast enough to lay down heavy damage fast. Guess what?A master pikeman could solo a rancor also. Heck a Pikeman could take on a group of rancors. AOE knockdown+ warcry + stacked 4K bleeds = dead group of rancors. Why don't you head over there and complain about them? Gee let's look at swordsman. Master brawler unarmed lunge2 + warcry + stacked 5K bleeds = dead rancors. Fencer same thing. Get the picture?

What, do you expect the devs to read your post and become your personal "yes man"? "Yes sir we'll get busy on nerfing the TKA profession right away sir, thank you for bringing this to our attention sir". Nothing combat wise is going to happen for the next 4 months until the combat revamp happens. Things will be unbalanced and out of whack until it's done.

This thread is useless. It will accomplish absolutely nothing and it contains nothing that hasn't been whined about every day for the past 3 months when TKA became a FOTM profession. This same tired, stale, daily,trolling waa waa waa whining is old news.

Just please shut up and go away. If this is the result of the main forums closing (meaning all the trolls come here) then these already crappy forums are going to go down the toilet.

If you think you are getting hit from outside 18m with a knockdown it is either:

1: LAG

2: A Master Brawler move Lunge2, not TKA.

3. The dude is a Carbineer, Smuggler, or novice marksman with supression fire.

I have never ever ever ever ever seen a TKA knockdown land from more then 9m away. You sir take the cake for being clueless.

all nerf callers should be shot on sight along side rubber neckers neara crash site on the hwy.

I only posted thos 3 easy steps to kill in pvp for that whiner that was talking about how "hard" it is to pvp as a tka ... lol


as for all melee being broken on release.. yes i know . i did some pikeman back then ... glad its fixed.. but it's still waaay off .. as in overfixed.. i'm sorry ya like being able to solo 4 rancors and not even HAVE TO BE A MASTER TO DO IT. .. um helloooo wakeupcall .. these things are supposed to be feared.. atleast make it so i have to be a master to have a chance to kill these things...

i could drop all my commando skills and stilo solo 4 at the same time... i could dump all my skills (including medic) and still solo 4 of thes as a NON master ... heloooooo ... that is wrong!

defence mods need to be spread out more and the same with accuracy/dammage/speed in skills need to be spread out more..


all i see in these replies are 10 yearolds tyring to shh everyone and hide the fact that they are uber and can kill allmost anything in this game solo for such few skill points..
