Thread: Meditate needs to stop burning
Well the truth is you can put yourself out if you are on a planet that has water.
The problem is all the players that want to fight on Tat have no water to use.

Real life, eh? Hmmm. So if I eat poison, is there a good chance that sitting down and concentrating will help me? And if that's true, have I got a gimmick for the Cancer ward at the hospital...
But, as far as water goes in SWG, I always carry about 16 beer in my backpack. Can I use that to douse myself? Or maybe I can give it to a friend and have him douse me in about 15 minutes. Or maybe Coronet should have fire hydrants.
I kind of like this idea. It's neat from an RP perspective, seeing a flaming Monk quench the burning of his skin. After all, those guys walk on hot coals, right?
You can't be serious. Meditate already heals poison, bleeding, disease and wounds. Fire is the only thing that can hurt us. If we're able to put out fire with meditation, then there's absolutely nothing we have to worry about once we've killed our enemies. And I'm pretty sure that Commandos and BHsare going to be just a little angry. They lit you up, it's your job to put it out. If you can't .. well then it looks like you're gonna die. Too bad, so sad.
And if we're looking for simple fixes, how about this one. If you insist on PvPing, go to a planet that has water in accessible areas in it's big cities. 90% of you morons asking for this change decide you're gonna mix it up with a Commando or a BH on Tat. If that's the case, you deserve to burn.
You all power hungry people should stop complaining. I know you guys went to TKA after the new changes that makes it competable with many many professions, especially those that require much much more skill points.
I think you guys who want meditation to stop fire are just power hungry. Because if you can, there's no way that you can lose to a commando in a duel in an urban area. If you can't, then at least you will die from being on fire which results in a tie in the duel.
Don't feed the trolls...
Reality is irrelevant, this is a science fiction game that needs to be balanced.
There's 250 skill points available to every player. I used all 250 of mine, you used all 250 of yours. Some of yours went to Commando, some of mine went to TKA. Enough with the asinine skill point argument. Who do you think you are, a bounty hunter? ![]()
