Also if we go by the films Pikemen would be one of the most powerful professions, as a 'blind' Han Solo who probably hasn't even made Novice Pikeman yet smacked out Boba Fett with a big stick in RoTJ.
LOL ...thanks for the morning laugh. Just picturing Han Solo with a Apprentice Pikeman tag over his head doing polearmspin1 with a LVA.
"Boba Fett?! Boba Fett?! Where?"
*whirl* *SMACK*
"Ahhhhhhhhh!"

Yeah right. Correction:
Bounty hunters try to kill Jedi... Teras Kasi know better... big difference.
You have seen Windu vs Fett, right? That long, drawn-out fight(/sarcasm), between a badass Jedi and the person who was probably the best MBH of all time? Sure, he gave Obiwan a run for his money, but never would have been able to kill him.

If Teras Kasi are to be the Jedi nemesis then the similar equivalent progression must exist.
To equate a few day profession mastery with a 6 month one is just ludicrous. I was a master TKA as well as many other combat classes and they don't come any where near the effort or cost to reach a high level Jedi.
If TKA are indeed to be the near equal of Jedi then make the experience and pre-requisites for TKA similar to Jedi. It should then take months to reach near Master TKA and millions upon millions of xp.
The big question for the developers is why are you screwing over Bounty Hunters? They were supposed to be the ones keeping Jedi in check from day one.
TKA is a joke to master. No offense but I have also been Master Bounty Hunter as well and it takes much greater effort and skill points. Master BH the force and threat to Jedi they were supposed to be.
The developers need to rethink this stupidity and narrow minded comments from TH. Stop ruining the game now in the name of some false fun factors.

Um, The Movies are the Canon. Lucas said that himself. Don't deny Lucas our God. You shall be put in a sarlaac pit if you try to question the God.
Then allow me to be the first to tell "God" to stay the fcuk away from the camera. Stick to producing, Lucas, because you suck ass with directing.
Oh, and get out of the writing game too. My 16 year old sister writes better copy than your tired, jaded hack self.
And casting. Shut your damn mouth when it comes to casting. Giving the role of Anakin first to that brat Jake Lloyd in Episode 1 and then that whining sissy boy Hayden Christensen for Episode 2 and 3 is an unforgivable transgression. Not even casting Sam Jackson as Mace Windu can absolve you of that sin.
You know, while we're at it, just keep your damn fingers out of the Star Wars pie. You just bankroll production and leave the actual process of movie making to competent professionals.

What?
well put if not a TAD bit overboard
I woulda just said Hollywood sucks and likes to make their own versions of how a story SHOULD have gone to sell more tickets at the box office and continuity in the movies takes second place to action and entertainment. its like women. They are deep, passionate, caring creatures... but all we want is more action.

They're not, and they won't be.
antares
They are Jedi watchers. Jedi, lets say, keepers for lack of a better term. Jedi can do what they want, but if they go about destroying an ancient world again to purge the Sith or some other force, the Jedi would be battled by Teras Kasi Artists.
Jedi >>>> TKA >>> Normal human, in the SW Universe, at least.
Several TKA >> Jedi.
If you want to hunt down and kill Jedi, that is a Bounty Hunter's job. Possibly a Bounty Hunter could team up with a Teras Kasi, as TKAs are not not good or evil like a Jedi, they are like a normal person but have learned how to become stronger...er...whatever.

First of all, a teras kasi artist's purpose is NOT to keep Jedi in check. It never was, never will be unless an author decides to write it that way. There is no canon source that supports this view.
Semantics aside, if SOE decides to sponsor this view, then I think the Teras Kasi profession should be a harder grind as well as taking up more skill points, but also should be a more powerful profession.
Yes they were TH said it himself make sure you know wahtyour talking about before you post
