Thread: Now that Nyms isnt an option and the grind gets even longer...Any new suggestions?
Doctors cant buff mind, and I hate that TK Specials use a lot of mind mkaes no sense
Dantooine, head to the imperial outpost (probly anywhere else but ive only tried there). Get Mook Soothslayer missions( or something like that lol ). Anyway these things are humanoid, have 9k ham, have no armor, and are MELEE only. Plus they are 13k money! So dizzy + lunge = 4k xp (grouped).
They are agro, so they con red on the radar, and they do come with friends. Handling two is pretty easy, at master power anyway, and they have no armor so its a dream come true.
For pulling techniques a golden rule is to whip out a pistol, get OUT of range and hit fire! The guy you are aiming at WON'T agro on you, but anyone linked with him will come at'cha with arms flailing. So if you choose a guy whose linked with 2 others, both will come, but as a said 2 is doable.
Enjoy your cheaper, but easyer, nym camps =)
Well go into an cantina just before you get your Doc Buffs..
Watch a Dancer and listen to a Musician. (These needs to be entertainers with Tech Tree prefer Masters.)
You listen to em for good 15 min (It's a long time i know.) Use the radial menu to stop listining and watch the entertaines, and then see your mind pool, focus and will raise. This will be running for a 30 min (I know it's not long compared to how long you just used).
But this will help you at least for some time. (We are trying to get something to get these buffed for longer, but it's a begining to get more Mind)
I know its probably not the most efficient use of my time, but I hunt Giant Dalyrakes on Talus. It only takes me one knockdown and around 10 sec to kill one. They give me 1550 xp per kill when grouped with a pet.
Using the lair healing trick I can xp on 1 lair all day. Got about 50k an hour this weekend.

Darn, wish I would have known about these guys
Humanoids + KD2 or (Lunge + Dizzy)= easy pickins.
I just may pick up some of these missions just for the money to support my harvs. Thanks for that tip!
Anyway, I killed Piket Longhorns with my wife, who plays a medic, using the pulling methods described above. Dantooine is really nice because it's wide open with little in the way of aggro unlike a planets such as Dath or Endor. Which reminds me, I also killed those ape looking things on Endor (Honadak?). They are always found in pairs on opposite ends of a given lair it seems and as such can easily be pulled in singles. They give 4k-5k exp and have good meat to harvest. A TK should not have a problem finding a medic to Duo with. These 2 professions go together so well out in the field. The exp just starts to flow for both once a good hunting spot is found.

You dont actually need a pistol. Completely unarmed or with a VK equipped and just hitting /attack accomplishes the same thing.
I have 2 questions.
What is this 'lair healing trick?'
Where are the Baz Nitches!? I cannot find them anywhere, nor can I get any missions for them!
--Vertiblade-- [Medic 4/3/3/4 + TKA 0/4/4/3]
Baz Nitches are on Dathomir.
Entertainer Mind buffs for only a very short time in my experience.
The "lair healing trick" is what I call farming. Bring a lair to half health by killing all the creatures around it, and slowly tapping until no more creatures come out. After the lair is at half health(or a little lower), leave the area. Usually around 80m away from the lair. Return to the lair after about 5 minutes. The lair should be full health, with defenders respawned around it. Rinse and repeat. Find 2 lairs of same type of creature to eliminate waiting period of the above. Heal as necessary.
Farming can also be done to herds of creatures (spawns without lairs).
The ideal creature for this is one that does not by any means BAF, or aggro. Dune banthas, Bolle Bols, Kaadu, Feral Banthas(aggro, but very low distance) are all great for this.
