Thread: Some data regarding Meditate
You're able to heal disease and poison at meditation 2. Yes.. you can heal disease at meditation 2 because i did just earlier today.

I was given permission to share this information regarding Metitative healing. It's stuff we already knew, but now we have some hard numbers. Enjoy!
Order of Operations for Meditative "Trance" Healing
- Cure bleeding
- Cure poison (meditation >20)
- Cure disease (meditation >40)
- Cure wounds (meditation >60)
"Cure disease"
What? I didn't know meditation could heal disease. Am I getting disease confused with fire?
Yep, you must be confused. There is no way anyone can cure fire atm; not even medics/drs can do it.
>60 means greater than 60. >=60 means great than or equal to 60. Its boolean logic
Just read the info Thund posted as what Med does at each level. Level 1 stop bleed --> Level 4 heal wounds. The info has been known for awhile but its nice that SOE is finally verifying it. Thanks for the update Thund.

As I said before I had heard it was at meditate 4, was just trying to make it 100% clear on the numbers.
So some people read >60 to include 60, some don't. I thought it was a valid point to verify.
Maybe now you wont get a lot of other people asking the same thing about when wound healing is available, in new posts as has happened lots of times here.
As people seem to still repeat the same thing over and over I will requote the reason why I was trying to clarify the numbers.
Yes I know meditate 4 is where wound healing starts. Even though should be at Master TKA only.
You have +60 meditate at expert meditation.
So why have wound healing available at >60 why not >65, then there would be no question on it ?
I know these numbers were set by the dev, and not asking them to be changed.
Yes I know that >60 can mean greater than 60, but could also include 60 as far as some people read it.
And as I repeat yet again I started the question on this, so that othersmay not ask the same question in new posts. Like all the other posts asking the same things in these forums.
Wish I had not bothered, would of saved me having to repeat myself multiple times, why I was asking this.

If >60 is given to you by a programmer, I promise it's read "greater than" not "greater than or equal to".
thank you as I had already said I know that is one way. Not being a programmer or mathamatician I have the possiblility of misunderstanding the value.
I appologise to all for trying to make a constructive point on the value as to why it is a value that is gained in expert skill, and why it was not a slightly higher value
It was silly of me to assume others may read the value to include 60. So by posting this may stop hundreds of posts appearing asking the same question.
Obviosly I am the only one who reads this forum who clould possibly consider this number is even included (even though I have said multiple times ' I know wound healing is at meditate 4')
Pity there is no way to delete my posts, instead of having to get told the same thing over and over again, that I already know.
There is only one way to read >60. That said, if you can find a skill enhancing tape with Meditate +1 or better (and it worked), you could heal wounds at expert. If there was a race with a bonus to meditate (are there?), they could heal wounds at expert. That is probably why they set the levels the way they did.

Look, I'm not going to get into a flame war about it with you, and kudos for posting and posting again, but I'm just saying that to a programmer, programmer being the important word here, >60 will only be read one way. For those people who have forgotten third grade, there is only one interpretation of that, only one way for it to be read. Especially if given by a programmer. If it was given by someone who hardly ever deals with math, numbers, greaterthan and lessthan symbols, then perhaps it *could* be ambiguous(sp?). But, programmers don't mince words when it comes to things like that. It messes up the code. Things stop working, loops don't work correctly. So, when I said that, I meant to have emphasis on the word PROGRAMMER. As in, if a programmer says >60, there's no leeway. It's not ambiguous.
And again, I know you said this, pat yourself on the back. I just wanted to clarify what I meant.

btw I am not trying to get into a flame war and it was not directed solely at you, in fact just about given up posting on this forum now, as every post I have posted in seems to go same way.
Was just trying to find out why it was that specific value that corrosponded with the expert level, even mentioned maybe a skill enhancer was available to allow it.
But I got a bit agitated after everyone kept saying the same thing over and over that I had already said I know wound healing is not available till master meditate andwhy didnt they just say >61.
But as it is just some information it makes no odds what so ever what the values mean, just wanted to make it 100% that wound healing was at master meditate (meditate +75)
Just can see that because I post what I think is a valid comment it turns into a flame war. So I wanted to make a point that everyone was 100% sure about, and end up getting treated like I am stupid. Probably see all the posts about healing wounds in meditate again now, just like the 'whats the bests stats for a .......' that occur every couple of days.
Does that mean if you have +1 Meditate and Med 3 you can heal wounds? interesting...
