For the record I'm not saying there is anything dislikeable about the combo. I'm just saying for the skill points used its not the most effective use of points. Or rather TKA doesn't enahnce ch'ing, and ch'ing doesn't neccessarily enhance tka'ing.

I played both a master CH/master TKA, and a master CH/master pistoleer.

If you want something that will destroy anything you come across, go the pistoleer route.

You can add 4 pts to novice medic to get to med use 40, to use Stim D's. This combination will allow you to gain money and experience faster than you ever imagined.

If you tend to get aggroed alot and die in the field, go the TKA route. It's much slower but you're nearly invincible if you play it right.

Yep, I'll take the sure thing any day. When I was a pistoleer/ch I'd end up running around like a little b***h trying to get the pets to reaquire the agro every now and then, now I don't worry about it... although I do miss FD...

I'm not trying to say that the CH/TK is THE combo to be, I'm just stating that it is perfectly viable, just as viable as any other elite professionimho; playstyles dictate alot of it though so ymmv.

Personally I think TKA/CH would be about one of the worst combinations you can have.Niether profession compliments the other. You'll just be in a profession competition with yourself.

Like 5 commando's all trying to land a flamedot on the same enemy. It only takes 1

If your going to do CH, pick a ranged profession you'll get more out of it.

If your a TKA, then don't do CH, start living with the fact YOU ARE THE PET TANK. Find something else to compliment that. Don't add more tank with CH it don't stack

TK and CH work just fine together, you just don't use the pets in the standard sense. The trick of it is choosing the right pet specials to go along with a nice tanking mob.

What makes this set work so well is the mob ping-ponging between you and your pet, not to mention the pet grabbing any adds you may get.

This is a great combination... you can't rifleman and tk at the same time, nor can you pistoleer and tk at the same time, but you CAN ch and tk at the same time (of course, you can do most anything at the same time with CH but this is the TK board, so I'll reference same).

For PvE, it works very well... fast damage and low downtime; I can't really think of much there isn't to like about this combo.
