Thread: Is thre any reason NOT to use Vibroknucklers?
Ive been a Master for quite awhile now and you will rarely ever see me using vk's anymore at all. On most targets im just as effective without vk's due to the speed and power that a Master has to wield.
I used vk's 3 days ago tho. I had just trained a girl in Teras Kasi Master and only charged her a duel for the training (as i do most of the time). We challenged each other and had a 3rd party tell us to fight. I used lunge (she was 13m away, ran up and used KD2. I then applied 3 dizzies, blind and a stun for good measure and began to spam Spitting Rawl (UH3).. i was doing 25 dmg to her at best, she was wearing some fantastic 75% Kinetic Resist Ubese. I then equipped vk's and used Berserk... vk's can help you get throuh armor a lot easier... this is where they are useful.
Mountain Squills (Tatooine), Kliknik Queens and Male Mamiens (Yavin 4) are rather hard without vk's. I can solo a Giant Angler (Yavin 4) without vk's and come out on top most of the time. With vk's on its a coin toss, ill kill him or ill kill myself.
Say, mochloD -- I was under the impression that you had to learn Novice and Master boxes from trainers only; the rest you could learn from PCs.
Not that I've attempted to train anyone in a Master box, nor do I disagree with your particular character build. 
Yes the only times I ever use Vk's are: (I'm a master doc so HAM costs are not the problem here, it's simply the range)
1. Pretty much all PvE
2. Solo PvP situation and the target is dizzy and on the ground.
3. Killing armored pets in PvP
Thats about it. I try to use them as sparingly as possible. As far as chasing targets around with VK's its a lost cause.
