Thread: Has any of you Nerf Criers ever watch a TKA fight a 80 percent resist kinetic composite wearer?

My armor is 80% kinetic, 75% electricity, 82-90% to every other type but stun (effectiveness slices). TKA is obviously not near the worst-off when it comes to pvp damage against composite. Everyone who doesn't have a stun weapon is in the same position as TKA in pvp. It's not a "TKA pvp" problem.

I have, and the armors come pretty easily. 200k for one (no stun but oh well), these things can pretty much repel any kinetic attacks. I've done maybe 30-40 dmg tops against a doc buffed composite wearer. Maybe you guys need to go over to the doc department and ask to nerf them, because of docs, composite armors don't have such a big penalty with buffs on like they use to be, and in fact a lot of pvpers have doc in template or always have doc buff before pvping.
Its all about melee mitiagtion. That doc prolly had melee mitigation 3. if one attack from you was for a 300 (just an example) melee mitigation 3 would make a 300 attack hit for 150. then in pvp you gotta divide that by 4. thats a hit for 37.5.
Notice how I not mention armor? couse vk is ARMOR PIERCING. it cuts thru the composite and it dont meaen squat! Its about that persons melee defences, and nothing to do with his armor. That Doc could be nude for all you care since you got armor piercing. If it was not it would be a hit for 3.75 dmg (90%). Then I'd understand your whining ![]()
So give us commandos armor piercing I say and nerfTKA whining![]()
Melee mitigation only affects the range between min and max dmg. mitigation 3 decreases the range by 60%. Also, Armor piercing doesn't work that way. If you have light AP against light armor, that simply means you don't receive the AR penalty of 50% per AR level. You still have to go through the resists.

I find it kinda funny that someone in the same post **edit** about others nerf criers and then cries for a nerf of his own (doc buff, kin armor, etc).
Come on, you got beat. Get over it.
Don't become one of those that get beat by a TK and then yells "Nerf the TK, I can't beat them unless they get nerfed".
Yes, a guy with nice armor and some good skill tapes will kick your butt with the right template. So think and do something different.
1. Work your template around if it becomes too big an issue.
2.Work with your team.
3.Work your resouces better (food, drink, armor, Vk,skill tapes, etc)
But man, don't complain about nerf cries and then cry for a nerf.
Sorry for the flame, it is not normaly my style.
Actually I was testing this on a friend. He was lying down, and even let me do a knockdown and do my unarmed 3, I did maybe 50-75 dmg which he ended up regening back. Yes, I think doc buffs are actually too powerful. Even people at master shouldn't be exactly be able to solo a 40k ham npc (nightsister protector comes in mind), or a 21k force crystal hunter (that same friend I was testing the dmg on can tank6 at a time). What's the purpose of making these guys harder, make CH's pet weaker, but make the player in themselves even more powerful? Kind of defeats the purpose and makes thing even more inbalanced. What's sad is that because of how they are trying to work on pvp and pve together, it really unbalances it, rather then keeping these two things seperate.
I liked it when composite armors weren't too powerful, and doc buffs weren't too powerful, and that pvp was actaully based on skills overall. And I was being honest about nerfing composite and doc buffs, it just makes people almost godly. It's not just the templates anymore, sorry.
