I gotta tell ya, the single BEST creature Ive had fun hunting while Unarmed 4 was Mountain Wuurts. Im getting 2k xp a Pop and with down being able to be handled by medicine you simply run up, Initimidate and berzerk. Much better if you have a medic friend.
I find them a lot easier than Mountain DewBacks
I'm not a TKA but I did have to get Unarmed4 for smuggler. I highly recommend you get your VK's sliced. Speed sliced VKsare godly for a novice brawler working his way up.
Just use your fists for your specials.
I started bare handed and pulled with intimidate until it stuck, then did blind, then berserk, then equipped a VK. Worked very very well.

Kinda sad when you think about it. We do more damage with an uncert weapon than we do with our hands. How many other professions can make that statement?

I think bare handed damage should do more, but this is the TKA forum not brawler forum and once you are past the hump (get to TK novice) the damage is fairly comparable again.
you can do bageraset missions on correlia for pretty much the same xp as well.
And for fun you can attack durni lairs on the way, when all the durnis attack you to defend the lair, hit a few times with the area attack and you get 123xp per durni, i.e 500-600xp in less than 1 minute.
You should go to Lok and do perlek missions. You get 1000 xp from each of them and you can easily do the missions if you have a set of VK, some med packs, and you use berserk and blind. With about 10 of them per lair you get 10000xp plus the additional 3000 from the lair. Doing two of them you end up with 26000 unarmed xp a run. I did my unarmed IV in two days this way and am using if for my tera kasi novice.

I am woking on TKA/Fencer/Pikeman as i have said a time or two and my plan so far is to run tortur missions......I am currently a Lv 4/1/4/3 Pikeman/Unarmed Lv3 and Fencer Lv4(so easy)
I Kill tortor Bulls with the Long vibro axe for 2400Exp and Regular tortors for 1400Exp
I use my Vibro Blade to kill Meager Tortors for 550Exp(not so hot)(jungle and foaming flynocks are better with 800-900Exp so i kill them when i can)
And I use my Vibro Knuckler to tear up the nests. Tortur nest is usualy 3500Exp and I do two of those a run.
So i am in the Fast Lane to master...and once i get Novice Tka and fencer....there is gonna be trouble for the animals of talus!

Well I would hope that a carbiner notice wouldn't do better with their hands than their weapon, the range sucks. (c;
IMO it only makes sense that a weapon would do more damage than fists, even its its uncertified. Try hitting something with a steel blade and then with flesh. Unless you are well on your way to Teras Kasi mastery then there is no reason to think that you hands are as hard as steel. Nice that when you get certified then they become so awesome though.

Right now I've only been working on TKN for a few days and I'm already 60k xp into it... and I'll ive been doing is slicing containers and killing swoopers and meatlumps trying to find them. Bestmove I made was the VK's, hands down. I've found that with bezerk I can take on 3 white-con swoopers at once, with knucklers and one round of /bezerk1. I'm also a novice pistoleer, so when that one chicken has 20 health left, turns and high tails it... I blast him in the back. I might be getting in touch with Blanks again soon, if he wouldn't mind teaching me more smuggling skills as I earn them. Thanks again, and thanks for the kind words from everyone.
Oh yeah.. did I mention that THIS GAME ROCKS!!!
