Teras Kasi Archive

I just wanted to thank everyone who gave advice. I am done and can work on all separate xp pools, as I'm working on my advanced professions now: Smuggler/Teras Kasi.

How did I do it? I needed 25k unarm XP, and did it in like 2 hours. First: I bought a pair of vk's for 5k, 2.2, 37-149, 35-52-35 HAM cost, unsliced. Next, instead of hitting NightSpider missions, I tried something else. here's my calculations (out of Moenia, Naboo):

NightSpiders: approx 7 from each lair at 117 xp ea, lair 88-120xp = roughly 939 unarm xp per lair/mission x 2 missions is a total of 1878 Unarm XP per run.

Then I hit paydirt, and tried a Narglatch Cub mission: 6 from each lair at 226 xp ea, lair 366 xp (numbers were exact every time) = 1722 unarm xp per lair/mission x 2 is a total of 3444 Unarm XPper run.

I didn't wear armor, and I used /beserk1. It only hit these cubs perhaps 5 times a piece, they con white, aggro'd red, and fell quick. I am comfortable that most people working on unarm4 should be able to pull these missions. They were the only missions paying in the 700 credit bracket, and I pulled them with either no wep equiped or my VK's on (didn't make much difference). I used the terminals right outside the Star Port door. I will probably continue to use the Narglatch Cub missions for my trek through Teras Kasi Novice because 125k / 3444 = approx 36 runs. Grantid, I will look for better xp elsewhere too, but this is the best, and quickest, I've found yet.

This is my little advice, take it or leave it. For me it was, and is, rock solid. Thanks again, and I'm well on my way to TKM!

Very good post and something I wish I had when I was going for unarmed four! Course, that was two months ago and since then I've been climbing the long road to TK master. Good to see some helping out on the boards for new people.

where can i find Narglatch Cub ? which planet ? any cord?

Narglatch cubs are on Naboo, and I know moenia and kadaara spawn them.

Also, try to group with someone while doing it, Im pretty sure that the narg cubs will give roughly 300 per in a group.. dont quote me. Also Nightspiders will start to give just shy of 150xp in a group

Yup. And if you take a few extra minutes spamming refresh on the terminals, you can get them close to town too! I was soooo happy to finish that grrind. Of course now I need that 125k for novice TKA, doh

If you'll re-read my post.. I spelled out to a "T" how where and the numbers (no coords because they are destroy missions). Also, don't pay anyone to group with them. I've found that grouping with stronger players to take on stronger creatures that give greater XP is a waste of time. Sure the XP's great, but it takes 3 times longer to get anywhere. I'd suggest get a probot/pet or both, use them to tank yellow/red con creatures, while you swing away from 6m distance. You should be safe, and earn some better XP. Mind you though, the Narglatch Cubs were quick xp... that's why I used them. Good xp, quick. My thoughts and experience! Have fun!

Well I spent last night raising the cash to gear myself up, as I was an armored Brawler and realized the error of my ways yesterday. While I was doing that I had discovered this thread, so then I had to go on a mad hunt for that perfect VK. I finally found a nice one unsliced

While I was running around getting some stylin clothes, I took out a Hermit Spider lair as well. With Unarmed III and that weapon, and mask scent, I could get up, take out one of the spiders before others spawned, and did the whole lair. I imagine that the spiders are doable for xp as well, so I will look into that. I still finished my evening by finally setting up camp outside Moenia and doing an initial trial run on the Narglatch Cub missions. Fast, easy, nice XP. Maybe I will go get Unarmed IV today. Thanks a ton for the info.
