It helps in the early going, but it won't help you at all once you reach high levels in TKA. Like the above poster said, human, Zabrak(or in TKA's case, Mon Cals) are your best options withHuman and Zabrak being the best choices.

You should also consider what else you plan on doing. If your just going TK then human is probably best. But if you plan on doing a second profession you should consider how the benefits of being a Trandoshan would help you in that other job. I picked Trandoshan for the Unarmred bonuses plus the CH bonus. That and Trandoshans just look mean.

I like it. I've tried Unarmed as Human, Wookiee, and Zabrak and none were as fun or effective. I've never felt the burn from not wearing gloves or boots (in fact I don't wear bracers either).

At TKM, the bonuses might not really be visible anymore, but they can help you get that title faster. Especially, at the lowest (and worst IMO) portions of TKA, The 4 brawler levels.

I am a transdoshan TKM/master doctor. If you plan to go master tka/master doctor then I would suggest going human. As a trandoshan, your health secondaries have a minimum cap of around 700 and 600.... and your mind secondaries are capped at 450 and 500 I believe for a HIGH (this may be wrong, but its somewhere around there). I would much rather migrate another 200-300 out of those health stats and into my mind, but I can't due to the min numbers for transdoshan health secondaries being so high. This alsoeffects TKA/rifleman who's primary drain from specials seems to come from the mind pool. Keep in mind what you plan to master along with TKA when you make this decision.

Im a bothan TKM and i must say the high action secondarys rlly helps but no real bonuses of being a bothan......

I think a Bothan TKM would be hilarious...half the size of a human out there whoopin' a$$.

It just sucks that the supposed species "bonuses" are more of a hinderance than a help by the sounds of things.

I think Transdoshans look bada$$ and I think that Bothans are cute and tiny.

It's sad when you are kinda forced, in a non-direct manner, to pick human.
