Lo m8, I would be very tempted to drop the master brawler in replacement for doc 4xxx in this temp. The reason is that healing is so important in this current system, and you already have powerful attacks in the swords trees that far overshadow the +25 unarmed benefit, and the special attack of Master Brawler. You have little need to use MB attacks with swords present. Plus, COB in tkm far outshadows the benefits of Perry Reposite. If it was me, I would drop MB. Lose the bacta toss, and go for doc in this situation. I know you may be compelled to run with the ranged healing effect, but honestly without dabbling in CM you are going to be useless healing groups in high end MOBs anyway, they just move too fast. I love most of your temp though, and I think many here have followed the ms/tkm philosophy on temps. But, the healing ability is the base of the temp, and will allow you to hold aggro longer, survive longer, thereby hitting harder over a longer period of time.

This is just my opinion btw...Good luck

Edited to say: With doc allowing you to heal yourself throughout a battle, you can be the major focus of mob hate. When you are taking the brunt of the damage, and healing through it, you free others to do more damage because they don't have to heal themselves. I have found this is just as, if not more effective, than running around healing various others.

That is easy...4xxx for heals...If you want to buff yourself before the battle and heal 4xx4.
I went MasterDoc, with droid I am nailing heals over 2000, and that makes me happy =).





That would just depress me, because I know I can nail heals for 1400 with just medic 0030, clothing, food and droid... Think of all them wasted skill points...

With droid, enhancements I could see you getting close to this number. The problem is you only have shot. Which is a slow timered mind killer. With Doc 4xxx your healing over time is dramatically increased, healing amounts are dramatically increase, healing options (jab - faster timer, infusion - HealOTime) are increased, and believe mind takes less of a hit for the benefit. Your current ability gives you a single medium heal for a good value, but if you ever decide to tank necrosis you will need bigger better faster more.

My 2 cents. I never found it to be a skillpoint waste, but there are some here that swear by master brawler as well.

I carry the stims as well. Do I burn through the mind bar in seconds? Not seconds, but sometimes quite quickly. When you are in that position the object is to stay afloat. I have yet to not last long enough to be unable to give my group a fair chance at taking down the mob or /bursttunning out. There are a lot of ways to stay up in this game, mass healing is just one.

Just goes to show there is no fixed 'I win' template and posts like this are a little bit redundent TBH...

i'm currently TKM/MCM but thinking of switching to this:

*TKM
*Swords x43x
*Doc 4xx4
*Fencer xxx4

Apply armor break and binding strike for debuffs.
Damage adv. combo and head hit (on seperate timers for max spamage)
Doc healing(a must for pvp and high end pve) plus the buffs which are the next best thing since sliced bread.


the other considerations would be dropping fencer altogether and going swords x444

-or-

droping swords x4xx and going fencer xx34

So after reading this my conclusion is:
If im goin to respec from my imo a little lame and boring pistoleer/BH/CM to a melee temp with
TKA as main proff i shjould go MTKA // x444 swordsman // 4xx4 doc? I thought it would be worth
going master swords for lvl80 and some extra speed but it seems that level doesnt realy mather
in pvp?

So what am i looking for? Im looking for a high-dmg melee build that got the possibility to go 1vs1.
Am i even walking in the right direction?

My template works very good in mass pvp and 1 vs 1 TKM/Fencer 0404/Swordsman 0034 and Doctor 4000


You get all the def you need from TKM, and your speed and accuracy will be insane with a katarn knuckler

Just went from TKM,MSwords and doc 4xxx to


TKM, Swords 0444, Fencer 0004 and doc 3xxx


CL 80

Acc - 245

Def - 240

Speed - 100


lost about 25 meele def (didnt really make much of a difference) with the switch but gained25 of accuracy.


Think I like about this your get the TKM def , the dam and armor break off swods. Dropped 4xxx in it cause power hit i think was pretty useless to me because if the long windup. When I picked up the fencer 0004 I got a better bleed attack (not that great) but I mainly got it to get bind attack. It works wonders with people that waste action. Main thing with this template is waiting for the right time to do something and that extra attack that slows down action regen. Since I am a TKM most of my fights are long so its great to have bind to wait for people to burn up their action and then slap that on them to make them useless. Get them with that when they burn their action up and just Armor break - KD and its over.

Here's a template question for all you template kings out there: Which of these templates make for a more 'uber' pvE template:


TKM/MSwords/MBrawler/some medic?


OR


TKM/MSwords/Doc 4-0-0-0?

Well it kinda depends. I would say with your two options TKM / Master Swords / and 4000 Doc would definetly be better for PVE and PVP.


Now the main thing lacking IMHO, no spin attack at all. You would be able to get AOE exp by the Area taunt I believe,but you would not be able to do a lot of damage. THe reason AOE is important is for Force Sensitive grinding, most efficient way to get the exp.
