Thread: Thunderwulf : The petition, please do not create multiple petitions.
If I wanted a "first shooter" game .... I never would have left Counter Strike. (Which is a pretty good game in its own right... played it for four years)Well if knives has NO place at a gun fight then neither does one handed swords, two handed swords, axes, survival knifes, stone knives, combat staffs or the stun billy clubs. Lets take them all out.... and look what we got..... just another stupid fricken first shooter game.
What you want is what you had.... a well rounded game that has something for evryone. Our power and abilities as a TKA was balanced by the fact that we have NO range. So what I think we have here and I could be wrong is the fricken Devs had some complaints from players that they were knocked down and couldnt get back up to fight. My answer to that is.... TOO FRICKEN BAD. It happened to me.. I have been knocked down and couldnt get back up and ya... the dude DBed me. THAT IS PART OF THE GAME. So what you do is get your fricken character developed. Don't go crying to the Devs that you were knocked down and was DBed. Grow up and learn to develope your character.
I am rip roaring mad. I do NOT appreciate buying a game, paying the monthly fee, working for over 2 months at developing my character just to have it all taken away.
A word of advice to you people at SOE... I ran my own business for almost 10 years. So I know from that and as well as being a consumer....Customer satisfaction is number 1. From reading other posts it looks like you guys have a history of changing the gameplay / rules ... BAD MISTAKE. You spent 4 years developing this game.... that game that was on the shelf when you released it should be the final product.... NEVER to change... ONLY to be added to or expanded upon. You need to give your customers a base level of what is to be expected out of playing your product. You go mucking around with it and this is the result. you want to add missions..fine. You want to add more creatures .... fine. You want to add ST-ATs (AT-ST)... fine. You want to keep adding things.... FINE. Just don't go mucking around with the base product!!
I do expect this nerf for the TKAs to be reversed it is only fair since you guys made us combat ineffective. If you don't I'm gone .... you won't get anymore of my hard earned money. Remember... I am paying for 2 accounts. Ya ... I know.... my money won't break your bank..... but you need a customer base that will always be there. Keep doing it and you lose your customer base. If you do right your wrong ... don't do it again for any profession... us players/consumers need to know that you won't go screwing up all the work I have put into my character. But then again:
Management always did have the right to mismanage.......... you guys have the choice ... it is up to you....

i used to see people talk about cancelling their account, and think: "what a bunch of whining idiots."
now i guess i'm a whining idiot as well. After the kd nerf the game completely lost interest to me. IIt is no longer fun to play and i have cancelled my account, but I don't think I will be renewing it. Teras kasi was he only combat class (other than the unattainable jedi) that i am interested in playing, and now its only good special is broken......

This game barely had potential as it was. When you totallly stick my VB's up my butt and tell me its working as intended then you have lost my business. If the HAM cost was in fact a bug then 15 min after the patch somebody from Sony should have posted on our boards that they screwed up. Has anyone seen that..... Which leads me to believe that this was purposely done to screw us over that bad. Because of that I am canceling my account, and using the CD as a drink coaster.....

^Notice the font size and color. I will not stand to watch them destroy the only proffession I wanted to be in this game. I waited for 2 years when I first heard about this game to play it. I spent a ton of money on upgrading my computer to be able to handle it, I spent a lot of time reading up on the different proffessions and this is my payment?? We pay to get shafted!! No offence SOE but you are not the government. At least the government gives us something back after they ram us in the rear at the end of each year. Ohhh one more thing I have told all my friends in game and out to cancel thier accounts as well.. thebest thing about this is that they are not TKA's. hell half of them are Pistoleer's and Rifleman..lol.. LATER SWG
Grrr ... sick and tired of people whining about not being able to use knockdown several times in a fight. I do just fine without using knockdown at all. Learn to live a little.

I will stay until my subscription is done...if stuff isn't better, in 3 months, then yes I'm gone. Hopefully something is done about this issue.
