Thanks Mainkind. Unfortunately, I can't do 3-4-0-0 Fencer + 0-1-0-0 Medic.
I can either do
0-3-0-0 Fencer + 2-0-0-0 Medic
or
0-4-0-0 Fencer + 0-0-0-0 Medic
The reason I have 2-0-0-0 Medic is to be able to heal bleed while fighting. I think I want to stick with it for now as I seem to get bled often by high level mobs.
I will probably stick with my current template for now and try to find KD defense attachment and Thakitillo like you said.
Thanks again.

I have most of my sp used up. I had to drop my novice medic to get higher in my trees. tka 2443. I noticed once I droped it tonight i lost health alot more when going aginst just about anything. yesterday was great lol never lost the health at all. I have MCH which was my 1st profession and cause of that i hate to give it up. should i drop it or drop my marksmen skills and get back the novice medic? I dont find my self shooting at things much anymore. but i do use my pets as tanks. I also heard MCH will be better after the combat upgrade and would hate to lose it and find out later i should have kept it. I have 11 sp left and after TKM will have 3 will have to lose a whole tree in marksmen to get the medic back. or does it even matter to have medic. I noticed some real bad lag tonight when i logged on. rain just hanging there for 3 minutes an major delays in fighting. i got incaped 2 times while fully buffed going after pikets. should i wait one more day to drop anyting an see if this was all lag related? HELP cant decide.

Sorry Tytan I thought you had ment you had 3-0-0-0 Fencer & that you were looking to add to it. My template calc was going slow soI didn't check.
Anyway Personly I'd say stick with what you have & use more foods etc in that case.
Lvlain
Swordsman do not have a Dizzy+KD. However they do have a Dizzy+Posture down in the form of one (or two) of their area attacks. However this is also the only way they can apply a dizzy so it's not too effective.
Juggernaut
Personly I would drop the marksman & get medic back healing is often esential in my opinion, & can meen the differnce between life & death should things go wrong.
Also I would check the condition on some of your armour, from what you said that makes it sound more like you lost more health in fewer hits but I could just be reading it wrong as I only just got out of bed 20mins back.

Hi everyone,
You might remember me as being the guy who had no direction at the beginning of November
I'd been out the game a long time due to illness and wanted a new path in SWG - you guys really helped! I'm now TKM (WHOOP!) and that spurred me on to finish some of my other trees (MASTER ARTISAN! and almost MASTER SCOUT!). However, I only mastered the last two as a little acknowledgement to my old self (before illness) and to remind myself how hard I used to play (it was a huge struggle sometimes - as you can imagine). Well, I need a little more help if you guys are up to it

I'm forever hearing old war storied on the Eclipse server about the Warren, Nightsisters etc etc and I've never experienced these things. This was partly because I didn't have a strong combat profession, but now I have. I'd love to take part in these great events and would love to do some of the themeparks (mind your back Jabba). So, as you can see, I'm geared more towards a PvE template (as such) and wondered where I could go from here. Remeber, I'm pretty fresh at the game so a nice straight forward path would be ideal
*Friends of mine mentioned Master Rifleman, which sounds great - but does it accompany TKM well?
* Some have suggested Master Doctor (or just Medic) but this seems like a lot of hard graft (Artisan got on my nerves
) but I'm willing to if it's worth it. Buffing seems fun, but it might not be in the game forever (sure you've heard the rumours about the Combat Upgrade) and is it helpful on a personal PvE level?
* A lot of you guys mention that you've taken up a second (or even third) melee profession. Swords seems fun (LOADS of damage
) but I don't know an awful lot about either (these forums are definately one of the best kept - thankies Ryutek) - heard pikeman can be tough to master in terms of being really effective (not getting the master tree/box).
* Going through Brawler (and most/all starting professions) is pretty quick to do and fun. But will this help me a lot when coming face to face with toughies?
* Errr, running out of other ideas :S I did start Pistoleer before I left the game, but when I rejoined I fortunately did some research and found that it was pretty broken. Is range combat (a lot like the rifleman question really) worth tagging onto a melee profession for PvE (is weapon changing a bummer?)
Before anyone mentions it, I have/had taken a look at OnlyMaestro's summary of good profession pairings, but wondered if my circumstances and brief (well not too brief now
) background would help with a good recommendation. Please, I'll read all replies so even if someone beats you to a reply, leave your thoughts because I value my fellow TKM's ideas.
Thanks again

Okay, i got a problem with my template, dont know what i shall choose! here is my current skills...
TKA 0-1-0-0 (which of course includes, brawler 4-0-0-0)
Master Medic
Now my dilemma, i dont know what i shall choose, either getting Master Doctor, or something with AS, i believe i can get something like this
TKA 0-1-3-0 (brawler 4-0-0-0
Master Medic
Master AS (The skills under Artisan as well...)
Doctor 0-0-2-4 (For the buffs...)
And if, would that be an good template?

Taktah,
TK is unique in that it definitely benefits you no matter what profession you choose to pair it with. The first thing I would decide is whether you want to have a mix of ranged and melee abilities, or if you would prefer to stick with Melee. that would be the best way to determine what route to try first.
Some of the most fun I have had has been as a TKM, Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler. It is a template I will return to one day I am certain. If you want to use Rifles definitely go to Master.
If you want to stick with Melee Swordsman would be the profession to choose for sheer offensive power, and Fencer would be the profession to choose for Defensive capabilities.
Really the best thing to do is to decide on ranged or melee and then seek more input, so that it is narrowed down some
Master Brawler definitely helps TK, primarily due to Lunge2 and Warcry2.
Personally, I would recommend TKM/Master Rifles or TKM/Master Pistoleer for a mixed profession set, and TKM/Master Swords/Master Fencer for a devestating melee trio.

Jasay,
Are you primarily a crafter who is just looking for some limited combat abilities, or are you wanting to be more combat based and have some crafting?

Acutally, i want to be a crafting char, but still i want to fight a bit, without fighting i think i would die, so i think a bit skills as a TKA would be nice to have

Great reply Ryutek
And I guess my answer must be Ranged. It's nice to be able to shoot something big and scary from a distance, and not worry that you'll have to run a mile
Is there anything extra I should consider about Rifles and TKM? Will one affect the othe adversely? Is the weapon changing a burden?
Got myself a Template calc thingy and wondered if this would be a useful template to consider (taking into consideration my above details):
Master TKA (Brawler 4000)
Master Rifleman (Marksmen 4004)
Scout 4000
Medic 1002
EDIT*
A further query I have:
Marksmen 4004 (is the ranged support a useful tree to go up? or would it be better spent on the medic profession?)
Scout 4000 (I chose this because it makes negotiating terrain etc easier and maskscent is useful with PvE - but again, is it worth going up the tree or are the points spent better elsewhere?)
Medic 1002 (never dont medic before and wondered whether it would be worth it for PvE. I chose these three boxes - but I don't have a great deal of knowledge to justify them. I chose the 1 to increse the injury treatment and the 2 to get stimpack b's.)

TK and Rifles go together well. Weapon changing isn't that bad unless you are changing multiple times in a fight, and that rarely occurs (for me anyway).
Scout 3-0-0-0 will boot your terrain Negotiation up as far as it can be without Master Scout, so you could drop box 4. I don't normally use the specials in the last line of Marksman, but that varies per person based on weapon and playstyle to a point, but I'm not the most qualified to answer that question so I'll default to someone more knowledgeable
With Medic you would be better off putting points into the first two trees and buying your stim b's from someone else due to having less experimentation points than someone with 0-0-0-4 or Master.
I hope I got all of your questions
