I'm thinking about going Tri-Master(Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler, and TKM) I'm a Bothan and was wondering if anyone could offer advice as to stat migration.

I'm currently a MCH, MBE and have a few points left over, currently wanting something combat related to defend myself, at least until I get the seconds slot 
With the above two classes I could fit in 31xx, or a 4 in TKA with xx14 in medic (need the last 4 in medic for BE). Does anyone have any advice? I'm currently using 21xx rifles with xx14 medics. Thanks in advance.

Tioso, there's no such thing as +9 melee mitigation, melee mitigation is an ability not a skill bonus. You'll only have melee mitigation 3 from TKM. (I know, you probably used the SWG Character Builder at swgcb.yogn.net which I use too and incorrectly handles mitigation.)
The stats aren't bad, but check out my template...

My current template I'm working on.
TKM
Doc 3000
Pistols 0044
Reason being? I group pvp, not friendly duals where you can request no dots. Dots are all to common, and as much as I'd love to be a defense stacker, even the area cures aren't enough to help me survive through onslaughts of combat medics, and dot pikeman. Of course auto-ticking gets the best of me, but other than trying to keep them on my back, not much I can do about that. Also the ability to healstates, and heal myself and myteammates for their entire HA pools is nice.
I use janta blood to make my poison and fire cure packs, so they are powerful enough to handle most poisons and flame dots. Here are the stats breakdown.
Def vs KD: 70
Def vs PD : 50
Def vs Dizzy : 45
Def vs Blind : 50
Def vs Stun : 55
Melee mitigation 3
Ranged mitigation 2
melee defense 102
ranged defense 47
Only change I'm considering at this point, is dropping the melee/ranged defense lines for medicine use line for even stronger cures. This will depend on how the janta blood cure packs work out for me.

Yeah... If you really want medic you have to give up some defenses or give up master brawler. But you did say you wanted a defensive stacker template, and medic skills have nothing to do with defense stacking.

the msaochist/sadist in me wanted to just show you the template ive been working on getting....
Def vs KD: 85
Def vs PD : 95
Def vs PU : 65
Def vs Dizzy : 70
Def vs Blind : 75
Def vs Stun : 80
Def vs Intim : 65
Toughness : 70-80
Melee mitigation 3
melee defense :177
ranged defense : 140
Force Defense : 100
Defense Acuity : 96
Combat Equil : 55
not as high on defenses as some stacked templates...but high up there...and they're arent gonna be many with this template either 
oh and can heal on back...and my mind pool...get FoW, boost, and regainconsciousness (self rez), forcerun1, forcespeed to speed up all actions....
and if you add in the max AA/CA mods (+25) to ones like intim, dizzy,stun, kd, etc...those will be all be nearly maxed.
tkm/defender/2000enhance/2000heal
gonna be hunting me some jedi and NS
be the only one tanking NS elders without armor lol

MCH/TKM/4/3/4/0 medic...
not much of a PvP template seeing how borked CH is but i enjoy it and have a lot of fun with it.
Thing is i also enjoy PvP but since TK doesnt give the best deffences (ie kd) if i get kd'd im pretty much off to the cloners. I usually compensate by taking thaktillo (s/p) which helps but it limits the other foods i can take for my mind.
My question: what (besides droping CH since i wont do that) can i do to up my def some?
Would BE clothes be a better option to thaktillo?

Honestly, I'd probably go with some terrain negotiation from Scout or some Medic. Either will help you out (and I would think the Terrain Negotiation would be more helpful at this point).

I would drop the Medic and take 0-4-4-0 Fencer for the defenses you get there. The only other option would be to look at Swords for offensive power to compensate, but to add defenses I'd add some Fencer.

I am currently TKM, Master Fencer, Scout 4/0/4/0, Medic 3/3/3/0
I'm working being Medic 4/3/4/0 and dropping some scout.
I do miss having my sludge panther since I dropped CH. BUT, I really enjoy the TKM/Fencer template. I have decent defenses and I like the option of using a sword on occassion
although my fists are my favorite.
