Thread: Any serious PVP TKM/Master Docs out there?

HI I was just curious to see if any serious pvper has tried MTK/Master Doc as a template, after everyone went to buffs and 80kin comp armor, and how you fair in PVP. I was thinking adding master doc to tkm and droping master fencer/master brawler. For anyone saying to themselves why not keep master fencer and drop tk? I can't I love TKM to much. I was just thinking that ifin battle I had the ability to cure a disease or poison I would be able to last longer. However, I know I would miss all the obvious benifits from master fencer as well as missing out on lunge2 and intimidate2. Furthermore, the mind ham bar drain in a pvp battle may still be a huge issue even with master doc. So I am unsure whether I should go down this path. Just wondering if there are any tkm/master doc pvpers out there and how you feel about your template. Thanks.

Lets put it this way...
Player 1 (TKM / Master Doctor)
Player 2 (Master Medic / TKM / Master Brawler)
Now lets say that both players use nothing but there own skills. NO OUTSIDE HELP
Keep in mind that we will assume that both players are experienced players and know how to use there professions.
Player 1 would probably Win because buffs make all the difference. Even if KD Dizzy the doctor would still probably win because they can just pop up and use a dizzy cure pack.
Now this is how it work in the real game...
Player 1 and Player 2 fight and Player 2 wins.
Why? because the Non Doctor has more skill points to throw around. Any serious PvP player will get buffed before going into heavy combat.
So a Doctor / TKM would be just a waste of skills on the battlefield.
Although the Doctor / TKM template might work well if you have some support from your friends.

When you can enhance your stats by 1000.. Then its clear... You have already won!
You are just too good compared to the other guy!
But I have heard rumors of gigantic nerf to Buffs... Reduction of 50% and all kinds of stuff, because they kill PVP... Never the less, 50% reduction is still an awsome advantage...
Maybe the question is more, of - Do you think its a fair fight to buff yourself, if your enemy is not buffed?

hmmm where to start... TKM/MDOC.. in my OPINION is awesome pvp and pve from an experience since day 1.
To start with master doc can now instantly extinguish fire from commando and Bh.. fire wounds does make difference and by curing it lessen your wound impact... Cure disease/cure poison instant in pvp is between winning and loosing. You have to play the TKM/MD template to know your max potential.

well, I just recently started SWG again and started fresh on a new server.. I am now a master doc and TKM.. and i get my arse whipped all the time.. the composite kills us.. and if WE wear armor we kill ourselfs before we scratch them.. the buffs are nice but it still doesnt make us win sadly... now I've gotta think of another template that will be good in PVP.. anyone care to help?

Well I can Vouch for Sinanju Whitelotus. I know for fact alot of TKM/DOC template in valcyn server have followed his step cause of what he done in pvp. He prove alot of us rebels that he can hold aCorelliaCoronet Startpot by himself and still win. I have much respect to him due to him being a fair person and honorable and awesome pvper. He does knows his max potential and for that i've been also TKM/DOC...but damn i still have problem beating him.

This is my Template...and I can hold my own.
TKM
Master Brawler
Doctor : 0-3-4-0
With this template..I can still buff myself with medical clothes+25 I can get buffs at about 1500-1600. I can use stim ds to heal if I get knocked down its only a matter of time before i get up..the only way i will lose to a Master Fencer is if he is wearing 90% kintec armor..and even then its gonna be good fight.
Master Brawler give you a few + points to go with TKM.
As Brawler you get Lunge 1 and Lunge 2 each lunge has a 30 sec timer so in fact you can use lunge every 15 secounds.
Intimdate 2 ...AWESOME.

MTKA/MDOC is an awsome template im currently doing that im almost a master doc, People say we can't beat fences i can easily heal myself for like 1k damage cure my dizzy when they kd me and **edit** and they cant make a sratch even with scatter hit if it attacks my mind it doesnt attack it all that bad. My unarmed head hit will kill them before there scatter hit kills me.

Well I had a TKA/Doc on Bria and didn't do too bad. Not to say I would always win or anything (stupid commandos!!) but I could hold my own. Although it is extremely nice to buff myself, if I was still playing that character I would probably switch it around for more defenses. Back when I created that character it was harder to find doctors than it is now so buffing is no biggie. Plus I find in PvP defenses are more important than the ability to buff yourself.

im one of the pvpers on farstar and all i do is pvp everyday ive been a tka since i started in nov and have been tkm /doc for a while ( bar a small perioid where i tried pistoleer ) and i dont mean to toot my own horn but i am really hard to kill as i have all my stats in my mind and buff the rest . with doc i can heal for 3k health and action its only my mind i need to worry bout a couple of brandies and some muon and ur sorted with a quick pb to add that xtra ham

TKM/Doc here. Ican count on one hand the number of times I've gone down in1 vs 1 combat, and have been known to stay on my feet far too long against overwhelming odds. I'ma *good* PvP, although I don't take myself too seriously, it's all in fun. But I do like to win, so I make sure I do.
If you are losing, you need to figure out why, and fix the problem. Is your mind weak? Does your armor suck? Do you need a better weapon? Do you not use food/spices, or use them ineffectively? What professions are giving you problems, and why? Are you spamming the same special over and over even though it's obviously not working? Are you killing yourself? Are you letting people kite you around? Are you putting yourself into situations where you are obviously at a disadvantage?
Winning in PvP is just like anything else in life. You have to find the problem before you can fix it.

I was TK/DOC for about 2 months now, I was loved when grouped in hunting, after buffing and hearing people blame you for bad buffs and getting e-mails that you have been paid but never did, getting tipped from someone in the starport with spams all over knowing someone paid but who? and end up getting tired of it all.......... it was not bad but I dropped Doc and went Swordsman to have other Dmg than Kinetics, Also an ATST killer haha!! 
but not a PVP god, just revive and stuff

right now im TKA 2-1-2-1, Doc 0-1-2-2 im gonna master both and alot of ppl tiold me its a good pvp template, besides TKM is good anywayz lol unless u mix ti tiwht a crappy template but thats hard.
