I know I'm not alone in this, but I would much rather play a force sensitive TK than a Jedi. After looking at the FS trees posted in the Test Center Forum, it looks like there are several melee enhancement trees that can be trained. My current thoughts are that the only ones worth taking for TK are the ones that give extra melee and ranged defense. There are trees that give extra accuracy and speed, but we already hit at speed cap at master and we are so accurate as it is that I don't know if it is worth spending a few skill points to get more. What are your thoughts?

The only professions that I see these helping our Hvy Swords and Pike, I really think there will become alot more of those 2 once publish 10 goes live due to that fact.

does getting the force sensitivity use up skill boxes?
if so, forget it, my skill points are stretched too thin as it is.

From the Char builder online it seems you can unlock em for free but each box in the tree takes 1 skill point.

You're not alone here. And with the combat balance, armor and buff nerfs it'll be that much better to have.

Well I love my TK and will keep it all the way untill I need to drop it for Jedi Skill points (assuming that I will eventually be one).
Right now the force sensitive skills would do me nothing as I have all defs capped, speed capped and accuracy realy hight.

I'm pretty sure I'll play with a template that uses FS skills, and maybe even go into the Jedi skills some as well, but I won't know until I start playing with the quests to see.
If it comes down to it I'll just start up yet another Character on another Server and play with it that way, but I think a Force Sensitive TKM would be fun to play.

I wont be doin FS if doin the jabba themepark is a requirement...which I am reading is true...
It is the ONLY thing i havnt done other than change profession, rebel assasin corvette, neutral corvette, imp themepark.
...FS defences would be great..No point on improving accuracy tho..TKA could really benifit with some ranged defences

Well, I achieved most of my "first year" goals. Mastered TK, Mastered Doctor, novice scout, 71 badges, full PA for a home, and an AV-21.
So.... with what I'm seeing as far as Publish 10 and the "new" Jedi system.. my plan is...
Teras Kasi Master
Combat Prowess 0022 (Melee accuracy, Melee Speed)
Enhanced Reflexes 2200 (Ranged and Melee Defenses)
Heightened Senses 0022 (Persuasion and Luck)
LightSaber Master
ForcePowers 4000 (I just want ForceLightning)
Novice Medic (Pharmacology 1)
I know it's not an Uber PvP killer template. But..... it fulfills my Roleplaying goals for this toon. I figure about another 6 months of grinding at least. Don't forget.. JTL coming soon! Won't be spending as much time grinding on the ground since I've been a FlightSim junkie for years!

You guys do realize that if you venture past the FS skills into the Jedi skills that you will be a Jedi, and will have to deal with everything that comes with being a Jedi?
I also see that some of you want to take the speed and accuracy trees. That's the feedback I really wanted to get from this thread. Do you think the speed and accuracy bonuses are of any use to a Teras Kasi Master? Why? We already hit once per second and I have never missed since I became Master TK/Master Brawler.

I'll probably go Jedi and mix Jedi skills with TK. Frankly I hate armor and would love an excuse not to wear it.
Yeah it's a stupid reason to go Jedi but it's compelling enough for me.
