Are there any plans to fix people dabbling in TK meditate? This skill tree is what makes us truly unique and it blows to see a rifleman/fencer meditating.

There is no need to "fix" this. Its not broken. None of your uniqueness is infringed upon by allowing other people to use parts of TKA.

I agree with Grimror, what is to stop us from grabing one tree from fencer for added defences? It just happens that Meditation is the best skill tree in the game. Thats not our fault, In my opinion every profession should have a greally good branch or two.

Amen
many players incorporate parts of other skill trees without having to be a master.
What if the master brawler doesnt want you dabbling in his tree because you only needed the unarmed line to get TKA novice.

Dabbling is not a bad thing. Dabbling in a small portion of a profession and getting most of the rewards is. With dabbling in meditation, the dabbler is not getting most of our skillset, and thus not a problem. I would, however, like to see something else added to meditation for those that Master.

50% of the mind buffed into our secodaries at Master.

That is a great idea. :-)

Move powerboost to meditate 4 and FoW and wound healing to master
that'll stop dabbling

That's a great idea as well.
One of my suggestions I PM'd our correspondent was probably a bit overboard though.
Powerboost, Force of Will, and Heal wounds to the Master box...

I don't see why someone doing the meditation line of TK should be a problem. It doesn't cheapen the profession at all. Some of you people need to relax and just enjoy the game. Why should a rifleman or a chef or. . .a medicmeditating bother anyone? If they took the time and self discipline to master that arm of TK, then they deserve to use it as much as anyone else. This "that is our thing" attitude really needs to stop.

"I don't see why someone doing the meditation line of TK should be a problem."
It's not a problem that people can take meditation who aren't really into TKA. The problem is that someone who dabbles and just takes the meditation line of TKA is nearly as good with meditation as a TKM. Frankly I think that the extra +25 meditation you get at master (the highest meditation boost of any box) should provide a bit more than a slightly faster wound heal and a slightly better chance for Force of Will to work.

Dabblingitselfisn't a problem to me. When I sent my PM toRyutek I probably worded it a little wrong. Dabbling is part of the skillmechanic in this game (I realize this now). Dabbling was more than likely intended.I can't confirm it was, and I can't confirm it wasn't, but it just seems like dabblingpistol abilities from Bounty Hunter and Smugglershould be perfectly fine to usein apistol specific template (Master Pistoleer). It's no different than mastering multiple professions. You're pulling skills from different skill trees to incorporate what we like to call a "template". Wheredabbling becomes an issue is when players use dabbling to break defense equations making themself invincible, which is better known as defense stacking.
Those who have chosen to master the TK profession should be able to perform meditation actions those whojusthave theMeditation 4skill boxcould not do. One of my key concerns as a player with the TK profession right now is having it where the Master box is more desired. There wouldn't even have to be "new" meditation abilities. We have a lot. I believe adding new abilities would be asking for too much. Perhaps rearranging where these abilities are granted could alone provide a much greater experience.
