I know, you probably have heard this a billion times, Im sorry, but I just want to know if there is anything to take with TKM that is fun going through and not a repetative grind.

I know to answer this you gotta know what Im into and where Ive been.

Iused to think I wanted to PvP but now I dont care, I just want to have fun and if that means being a wimp in PvP, fine, but at least I am MTKA.

Now my history in chronological order...

Master Marksman

Master commando

Master Fencer

Master Pistoleer

Master TKA

MHS

Master brawler

Tryed

BH

Carbineer

CH

Pikeman

Rifleman

WS

Now, thats a hanful of masters and I just recently returned to MTKA and was going to return to some more combat professions to suplement it when I realized if I keep on with this hurton huntress slaughtering Im going to either lose interest in the game completely or vomit.

Any suggestions on what would be fun/diferent to do?

Here's the thing, I'm trying to go from Unarmed IV to TKA student, and I've found that trying to do it by any normal means is pretty much taking forever. As an example. I go after something giveing my 420 XP, it takes me 5 mins to kill it, and 5 mins to heal. for which I get 420 XP and like 100 Cr.

Or I can go after meatlumps and kill them in 30 secs make 42 xp, and 7 - 100 Cr. As this get's really boring, I wrote a Macro, and turn him loose and go grab a Pizza. An Hour later I've got 5040 XP and 10,000 more credits. WIth the fair fights I wind up with 2520 XP and 600 Cr in the same time. Also I maxed out a couple types of Faction I get the impression I'm gonna need.

I'm doing this in the hopes that after reaching TKA student, I can start grouping and do some RP'ing and not have to do another grind.

With me I like master medic. I like selling stims and healing people...and I loved being artistian. Picking a crafting class gives you something else to do and gives a chance to help other in my opinion. Combat missions kind of got dull to me too. Just my little take.

Crafting is a possibilty I guess. I was thinking something more of the lines that I could develope while using my TKM. Maybe ranger, or try CH again, I dont know. Anyone got any opinions on these?

Hi,

At the moment i am on my way to Master TK. I have not played for a long time and generaly get on with things, so i dont even know if this is possile.

I am Master Doc at the moment, which really suits me as i means that i can go soloing with my own buffs and it allows me to fight creatures than generaly are a lot tougher than i should be able to handle. I dont know if there are enough points to Master both ( a counting task for tonight maybe), but if there are its a good match. Docs are always wanted in groups and you can agree to harvest most resources from tough animals and make your own medicines. I have not played any other proffessions than these two so its very much a biased comments, but i like it.

Hope that helps.

Talent is not what counts, its what you do with it that does.

Doctor or combat medic. Medical professions can be leveled pretty damn easily and painlessly.l

beat me too it!

i can tell you right now, Combat Medic 4004 with TKM is the most fun i have had with this game sinse i started playing on day two. CM allows you to add the DoTs that TK is missing...and soooo, much more. once you learn about the Combat Medic profession ( i STRONGLY suggest reading up in the forums. you will see many a post by me there as well LOL) and learn how to stack your poisons and diseases correctly, you can PvP AND PvE with AMAZING power.

it takes skill mind you. i am not talking about zerging or spamming specials, but when you get the feel for how well the two work hand in hand, you can do just about anything you please in this game.

i will not go into the CM aspect here as that is what the CM forums are for, but i can tell you that combined with the well balanced speed>power>defense of TKA, the character becomes amazingly well rounded. perfect for solo as well as group missions. a TANK with both effective ranged / area heals and ranged / area attacks.

in addition to THAT fun, you will have 18 points left over to do with what you will. i personally am going:

TKM
CM 4004
Combat Prowess 0044
Enhanced Reflexes 4400
Heightened Senses 0002

check out this post i made just the other day:

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=combat_medic&message.id=43599

lots of fun to be had by all LOL

The setup I was using before I started the FS journy was this.

TKM - 4/0/0/0 Doc - 3/0/0/4 CM

It's a tricky combo to play. But indeed very fun.

I mean just doesnt FEEL like a grind.

Its sad when I look at this game. Not much to do but grind to level a profession whereas when I played Ultima, it want experience to get a level, your skill went up as you used the skill.

For example; In SWG if you went out adventuring in a group, you can fight the same target but you lose XP from what you would have had killing on your own. In ultima, say you were fighting a dragon. It may die quicker from more people but each time you swing at it or cast a spell you might go up a tic in skill just by using it.

Make any since?
