Thread: A few combat macros I use with TKA...

The first one is just to start the battle. In the first toolbar slot:

toolbar slot 1 - /follow;/attack
toolbar slot 2 - /stopfollowing

Once I target something, I hit this, I then run up to the target and start attacking. Occasionally, while fighting certain creatures, they will tend to move a little or back up after each hit. If you are "following" them, you stop striking and step forward. Because of this, I have /stopfollowing in toolbar slot 2.

I then have 3 macros that group specials as follows:

toolbar slot 3 - /unarmedBlind1;/unarmedStun1
toolbar slot 4 - /unarmedBlind1;/unarmedStun1;/unarmedDizzy1
toolbar slot 5 - /unarmedBlind1;/unarmedStun1;/unarmedDizzy1;/intimidate

Note: I unarm my VK before executing any of the above. I use to incorporate the unarming and rearming of the VK directly into the macro, but I've had instances where it would skip and either not unarm the VK and then perform the special attacks (which ended up draining my HAM) or not arming it after the specials. It's no big deal for me to unarm, hit the macro, re-arm.

If the target isn't that tough, I just hit toolbar slot 3. If they are really tough, I hit toolbar slot 5, then maybe 3 or 4 during the fight.

toolbar slots 6, 7, and 8 are single specials (e.g., lunge, body hit, etc.)

The next is a healing macro. It use to remove my helmet before the process, then equip it at the end. Since I now wear composite, I sometimes have difficulty putting my helmet back on if I have accumulated a lot offocus and/or willpower wounds.

toolbar slot 9 - /targetself;/ui Action toolbarSlot21

Note: I keep a stimpack in the toolbar slot directly below this macro (in slot 21.)

Anyone else use macros?

Try putting a /pause 1 before disarming and re-arming the vk in a macro. It seems if you use an arm/disarm command in a macro and don't pause --- it runs "too" fast ...

For your healing macro you may want to try /healdamage self

That way you don't have worry about changing targets, or using up another slot on your toolbar for the stimpack.

Of course then you don't know exactly how many stims you have left without checking in your inventory, and you can't control which stimpack it uses.

Ahh. Never thought of that. I only have one stimpack out at a time (I carry factory crates) so "which one" is not an issue. Besides, I could drag the stimpack to a slot on the lower bar and it should update uses so that I'll know when it's time to pop out another.

Thx

Baelin_Radiant , thanks for shairing you experience .

I have a query about wotyou put and to see if i have got this straight. You unarm your self for a sec when before you use a Special move so that is does not damage your HAM ?

I thought when you have a specials in a que they will use the HAM when that move is being executed ? Or am i getting this allwrong ?

The game remembers the order in which you execute your commands. Even though it is not all happening at once. When you unarm the VK, then pop the specials into the combat queue, then re-arm the VK, the specials all execute as if the VK isn't armed. At least, it works that way for me. However, lately, I've beenmanually re-arming the VK and waiting till the specials execute. So I haven't checked this lately.

I use:

/healdamage Aija

healdamage is one word. I have gotten the no spaces message before when making macros. It has usually been because I had a space in the title of the macro.

Tested it today and it did not work. KD took the ham cost of the moment of executing. Used /ui toolbarSlot00 for dis-/arming.
Are there alternative commands?
I would love to have a auto dis-/arm with KD

I would never macro intimidate, it fails alot, and its just a waste on a macro. Its best to go into combat and start poping off intimidates on NPCS from like 20m out , so that way when your doing like Rebel marshel bases, you can intimidate them all and then run in hells bells and way laste.

YOu spend alot of ham messing with intimidate, macroing it seems almost trivial.

my little pet i use is on every style i have /unarmedhit3;/deathblow =)i am a TEF revenge masta hehe
