Thread: How do I beat anyone with an 80% kinetic suit

I have fought a few guys lately and I was able to attack the while they were dizzy for about 1 minute adn I killed my self cause 50 of my specials did NOTHING to his health. Am I right by saying I hit someone without knucklers for 150 dmg using unarmed hit 3 that his kinetic suit makes it like 20 damage because of his armor? This is pretty stuid becuase I am a Wookiee and can't wear armor but someone who has armor with kinetic resist is unkillable by a TKA.

I was rolling with 2 other TKA masters and we fought this guy and we knocked him down and he was down for about 1:30 and still had over half of his stats still. What can I do to defeat this over powered armor, thanks.

I'm sorry to say but you obviously don't have very much experience in PvP.

I understand that unarmed combo 2 is an attack that manages to find armor holes faster.

Kinda weak but hey...

Well that doesn't quite cover it though. Not when your opponents mind is no different statwise from the rest of his buffed stats. There is a point when you will ultimately do more dmg with UH3 when it comes to buffs and armor. And even then it's piss poor. And the reality is your probably doing more damage to yourself at that point.

Exactly what I'm saying. I have tried head hits, body hits everything and I can't seem to find a way to kill someone that way, at least before taking my action to NOTHING. SHould I just run at that point lol.

I used to have that problem, and although you may not like my solution i find a jawa ion rifle can slice strait through 80% comp like its not even there .

You don't seem to understand. I PvP a lot. Let's say the target has 3k health, 3k action, and 2k mind and 80% base composite armor. You get a kd/dizzy on them. If you do unarmed hit 3 for let's say 20 seconds you will probably do around 1.5k damage total. When he gets up he will heal himself. There goes ALL that damage you did with Uh3. But, if you use unarmedheadhit1, you will probably do about 1k, and they will not be able to heal it. Get it? There's really no point in doing health and action damage these days anyway.

Well, with the new chef foods a few items heal mind damage, and there are several types that boost all the various mind stats really high. Using chef foods in conjunction with musician/dancer buffs, you can get your mind stats really high, and thats not even adding in spice into the mix. You can't heal mind like you can health and action, but with chef foods, weak minds are going to be hard to find.

I don't PvP really, and play on test center, but I've had some pretty good experience with those chef foods and can see how you could very easily make your mind close to untouchable in PvP for at least 10 minutes or so.

Well first of all you pop on all your mind buffing items (such as muon gold, brandy), equip your VKs, and start spamming head hits.

Every now and then, you apply a dizzy, warcry, knockdown if the person stands up again.

It is vital to keep the person on the ground.

If you say you are killing yourself, I am wondering why you aren't buffed in the first place. If you aren't buffed and fighting someone who isn't buffed, you shouldn't expect to win.

Also take off all your armor to reduce HAM costs, just as long as you keep the person dizzy/knocked down.

This should get rid of any person with 80% armor.

They wont need to heal that mind damage when they stand up, because it'll heal almost as fast as you can dish it out.

Recently I was siting in AH cantina with a TEFafter doing some rebel missions and I wasnt paying attention to my radar. Some imp runs in and starts shooting me, so I quickly warcry kd/dizzy him and checked his HAM. He had 3k HA and just over 1k M. I started hitting him in the head as fast as I could andby the time he stood up from KD/dizzy I had only damaged him 1/4 of his mind pool. My HAM was low because I had no buffs so I tried to warcry and burstrun away but warcry didnt stick and I got kd/dizzied and died very quickly.
