Thread: Are we overpowered or does everyone else not know what to do?

I recently mastered Teras Kasi artist after changing afew macros and setting up my bars I bough a VK 48 min 212 max 2,2 speed and put my ADK in it bough alittle BE cloathing and started dueling I am also a master doc. I started dueling and was beating everyone (cuz of the spam stand and spam dizzy cures standsyou and and cures u but thats another thing 
) and well I would go without armor and finally it took a freakin' uber stacker Master swordsman Master brawler and the fencer / tka defs and a +250 +800 damage PH to take me out and even then he has about 500 outta 3000 mind left when he incaped me. I wont 21 duels before comming across this guys (and he is a PVP'er since launch) and i've mastered TKA its been about 3 days. Just with this in mind are we overpowered (not that I'm complaining or anything

You were fighting people who didn't know much about dueling I'll guess. In certain situations a smart player can take out a TKA one-on-one without much trouble. For one thing, if we're on fire we're pretty much helpless unless we have doctor, and then to have doctor we'd have to give up defenses. Also you can kite a TKA just like any other melee character.

might be the case but these were all veteran buddies of mine some had PVP ratings of like 1800+ and I would beat them (and yah doc fire blankets rock ) but yah some of them were good duelers lasting 3-4 mins and some were just over before they would start probably cuz of my ground rools

No DOTs and no armor... Might as well say no weapons either. You loaded the odds.

No we are not overpowered. People are too lazy and stupid to learn how to fight TK's. If somone is dumb enough to not take KD food or kite us they deserve to die.

Thing is, in open PvP: People do everything to win. Try and fight with "anything goes". You'll find it a lot harder when you're doing 30 Damage, and they're doing 100.
Try another few duels with DoTs, Armour, etc. DoTs and Armour are everywhere in SWG: You'll have to get used to PvP combat with them.

In all honnesty bring on the dots but then again I can cure them all (MD 
) and well I think your aweakling if u need a dot to end the fight for you cuz that means you lack the skills to finish off your oponnent therefore you need a dot's help I was a CM before I went TKA and well duels are easy with dots and lack the knowlegde of 2 things. Potency and Effectivenessthe rest is dummyproff. Dots sucks bottom line. UNLESS!!!!!!!! its 2 huge def stackers that do 5 damage a piece

UNLESS!!!!!!!! its 2 huge def stackers that do 5 damage a piece But youmay have a point about me typing the odds in my hand but they all agreed none were DB'ed and well if your smart you will wear as much melee Def cloathing as you can and most of these ppl were basic stackers likeFencer and Swordsman and some TKA anyways and I'm a single elite combat class. But yah I had the feeling TKM has alot of toughness to contend with.

well I got some +84 stuff and well I had 104 def and was still KD'ed on the first shot

try to fight them again with 80% composite, your ego will definitly drop then, anyone can spam head hit or uh3 and win a duel against an unarmored opponent with less toughness than a tk and win, you didnt do anything special.

there is about a 5% chance a state will land on you, no matter high high your defenses is.
