I have heard from many friends that Darth Maul was not only a Dark Jedi Knight (which I hope we all know) but he was also a great Teras Kasi Master. In Episode I he uses his Teras Kasi and lightsaber abilities to keep two jedi at bay while ultimatily usinghis deadly skills toslay one of them. If you notice his uses a flurry of kicks and spins... a fighting style that I have never seen a jedi use before... ever.

Jedi's have those moves. They just never use them as they are at lower level specials.

According to the EU he was indeed a practioner of the Teräs Käsi art. If you're intrested in it I belive it's mostly talked about in the book, Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter, though I belive the refrences to it are few & far between, mainly stuff like this:

Maul spun on his right foot and shot his left leg out in a powerful side kick, slamming his boot into the droid's armored chest, stopping it cold. He dropped into a squat, spun the lightsaber like a scythe, and sickled the droid cleanly at the knees. Lower legs gone, it collapsed as Maul again twisted himself and his weapon, flowing into the form known as Rancor Rising. He brought the right blade up between Chain's mechanical thighs, hard, using his leg muscles to augment the strike as he pushed up from the squat to a standing position. The force of his strike bisected Chain from its crotch right through the top of its head.

Thats pretty much as deep as it gets in to that information though.

He wasn't a BH, people just jokingly refer to him as one because he was using seeker droids to hunt down the Jedi and Amidala.

Darth Maul's flaw was he put too much effort into physical training and not enough into training in the force. Yes, he was an excellent duelest, and a very dangerous fighter. But had he put the time he did into studying fighting techniques into study of the dark side of the force, he could have whipped out lightning and such on Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, like Dooku did to Anakin, and Sidious does to Yoda in the trailer for ep III. After all, it was the force that enabled Obi-Wan to defeat Maul, not skill. Had Maul tuned his senses in the force more he could have anticipated Kenobi's attack. Unfortunately, the extent of Maul's power in the movies was throwing a piece of a driod against a pannel to open a door. And as far as the EU, keep in mind the EU also said Boba Fett was once a stormtrooper. The movies are the only reliable source of SW information that doesnt contradict itself.

Wasn't Darth Maul a bounty hunter too?

Andrian
General Grievous: I was trained by Count Dooku.
Obi-Wan: Really? I trained the man who killed him...
The Emperor: Live Lord Vader. Live, my apprentice. Live...
Amidala: There is still good in him...

well, you're comparing Darth Maul to a lot of the most powerful jedi ever known in the order. It is like comparing apples to oranges. Maul was a Sith apprentice, once that title is bestowed, it is hard to gauge what rank he attained before that. The flaw in your argument is this, Qui-Gon was very strong in his Force abilities, but he was killed in combat by Maul.

Sidious = dark lord of the sith.
Yoda = most powerful light jedi of the time
Dooku = once Yoda's padawan, second in lightsaber combat only to yoda. Many believe it was Mace, but according to Starwars.com Dooku was the best duelist after yoda if you are examining all jedi, not just light and dark side. Windu was the best among LIGHT jedi, second to yoda.

Well, if Darth Maul wasn't griefing Obi-won and just did a /deathblow, then he wouldn'tof had to worry about his buffs popping.
