That's why TKM's are the best for fighting jedi's. We have the highest melee toughness of all the professions so a TKM/Master Brawler essencially has 62% resistance to Light Saber damage. We can also do every state in the game which drains his force when he heals it, can keep him on his back, which stops him from hitting you back, can intimidate him which cuts down his damage to you even further, and can warcry if you need to regen some HAM or stop him from doing something really nasty if you need to heal, eat a steak, or just catch back up with him when he's /forcerunning away. A jedi is only as good as his force pool, make him use it up and he's a novice brawler with a pretty glow stick.

By far the best explanation I have yet heard

I do a bit of this, so here goes...

Preparation
- MAKE SURE YOU ARE CENTERED! Fighting a jedi is no joke they hit for a LOT, so you need to avoid as many hits as possible. You can further augment this with some Rak-something Pie (~50% bonus to dodge) or Air cake).
- To absorb damage you do take, it's up to you, either Sinthsteak or Exo-Protien Wafers.

The Combat: Tactics
- Start out with Warcry and keep trying until it lands the delay.
- Once you land a delay, stack as many intimidates as posible (intimidates DO stack) until the delay wears off. This does two things: 1) decreases damage and defenses of the Jedi and 2) drains the Jedi of force as they try to clear the state. These effects can be augmented with the stun state, but if Warcry is changed to once again break on combat, applying a stun state will be impossible without breaking the delay.
- Dizzy KD them once they are intimidated, followed by a Warcry. The warcry also delays their ability to heal states, thus keeping them on the ground longer, and giving you more time to apply more states or deal damage

Now, each combat situation is different so what I suggest is that you learn these approaches and apply them creatively to fit each individual circumstance.

The Combat: Strategy
What I like to do is break down one on one combat with a Jedi into two phases:
- The first phase is what I call the "Force Drain" phase where you focus on applying as many states as possible to force the Jedi to use as much of their force pool as possible trying to heal the effects. This can last for a number of minutes, depending on the level of the Jedi. Note that this is useless if the Jedi has friend channeling him force or healing him, so don't bother with it if this is the case.
- The second phase is the "Kill Phase" where you basically attempt to inflict as much damage as possible and incap the Jedi. This phase is much easier to accomplish if you are able to effectively drain the Jedi of force in the first phase as they are less able/willing to heal damage and states. Bascially, just bit the Jedi's weakest pool, and start bashing away at it, occasionally mixing in dizzy's and knockdowns/posture-changes to keep the jedi subdued and incapable of running away.

Additional Tips
- ALWAYS keep the Jedi Intimidated! This is absolutely vital if you want to live. Every time I lose to a Jedi, it's because they cleared the intimidate and I forgot to re-apply until it was too late.
- Have and USE Novice Medic! Keep some good (~450 str) Stims handy as you WILL need to heal youself when fighting a Jedi.
- If you are ONLY going to be fighting Jedi and nothing else, DO NOT WEAR ARMOR! Wear only a good PSG, as even a little armor encumberance might slow down your regen enough to lose the fight for you while providing no protection. - Wear some BE clothing with bonuses to things like Warcry and Intimidate, and resistances to states like bleeding and stun.

Hopefully this helps

So you would hit one pool? I've heard conflicting info on that because its less costly to heal one pool force wise then it does to heal just one pool...but mixing up the pools can be bad because well you have to get one pool all the way down to incap them. Some say to use unarmed hit 3 and some say do headhit. So I'm not sure which.

hey i have afew tips m8 ok first off whats your side professions..? i am a tkm/fencer/swordsman and i have 80% to there ls and all u do is take dizzy food syn stake and brandy pop um and then kd/kd/kd/kd till there down and dizzy/stun/intim them this will cause them to use 10 percent of the force now in the sitiation they will have a decent amount of ham down this a: will cause them to run which uses a deal of force or b which willl cause them to heal more...you must keep intimidate on them tho other wise u will die and not to get kded cuz they will cuz through the intim and all of your stat protections...never put on armour as you should know but pretty much keep um healin and if u are a cm to disease there health/mind/action as i know a cm/ppikeman who does this and he drains the force outta a jedi pretty fast but if u re=peat it should work i do have a 236 vk unpupd and about 270 pupd which helps alot...

I read somewhere that Combo 2 is a good attack, as it hits everything as opposed to using something that hits a random pool. Or is using body/leg/head hit a better way to go?

I'm not sure about the healing, I'll have to test it with my Jedi friends to see if it force used to heal is directly proportional to pools healed. I'll also try and look into just how the various heals work with force drain.

But assuming this is true, then it is relatively easy to implement into the strategy I've laid out... During the "Force Drain" phase, simply also work on applying damage to as many pools at once.

Ultimately however, once it gets down to killing them, if you see a single pool getting low, you definitely want to start bashing it like your life depends on it as they may not be able to get the heal off in time, and you might get an quicker win

Wear as many Bio-Engineered Clothes as you can to replce the armour.

You can buy melee def/def v stun, intimidate/warcry and healing clothes all for under 100k which will help you greatly. Remember the jedi will prolly have a bunch of friends too, so get ready to throw on some armour quickly.
