How long does it last at each meditation level and what attributes does it buff and how much?

Thanks you TKA geniuses!

The skill lasts for 5 mins * (100 / med skill) + 5 mins. So basically at TKM where your med skill is 100 it lasts for approx 10 mins.

The buff effect takes 50% of your base mind skill and then adds that number to Health, Action and Mind. Therefore the best thing to do if your planning on using powerboost is lowering your other stats and maxing out your mind attribute.

I assume you mean 5 mins * (med skill / 100) + 5 mins.

If it were (100 / med skill), then with a med skill of 1,your boostwould last 505 minutes. With a med skill of 0, the result would be an undefined division by zero and the universe would collapse.

With all the bugs in SWG, the universe collapsing would be a problem...

According to teraskasi.net:

/powerBoost:
Buff to Health, Action and Mind pools equal to 1/2 current Mind, excluding Mind buffs. Duration is 5min + ( 5min * (meditate skill mod/100)). Can throw specials while power boosted. Power Boost must be started while meditating.

1. Initial 50% reduction to Mind. Health and Action max values increase by 1/2 Mind.

2. 1 minute upramp. Health and Action 'heal' to boosted max. Mind heals to non-boosted level, then jumps to 150% Mind.

3. Plateau. 5 min + (5min *(meditate skill mod/100)).
Health, Action and Mind maintain boosted level.

4. 1 minute downramp. HAM depletes to normal levels over 1 minute period. HAM pools damaged below normal max values remain at that value .

Can anyone tell me why in the hell did they change it to boost off of base mind only?

Before patch if I had a dancer buff, I would have 2k mind (base is 1k)....powerboost, each stat would boost by 1k...now, it only boosts by 500.

Probably because it was too powerful. powerboost(1000 mind + mind buff + food + spice) is a lot of HAM.

I understand what you mean, but I disagree. We are tanks in pve along with the pets, and when running alot of specials together the ham goes pretty quick. I personally think we should be able to boost off of current value not base value.

I also think 1H, 2H, and Pike should have something as well, as they are in the same boat as the TK.

As far as pvp, ham amount doesn't matter much, we all go down in 10s to eyeshot spam.

how can you die to eyeshot spam.... it's simple going against a BH just get ready for lunge and kd2. /follow /lunge /blind /kd2 /uh3 /uh3 dead. if you are scared just skip blinding them. you can even insert a stun in there.

I don't really pvp, but was involved recently in a small imp/reb war in Theed...the only thing that sent me to the clone center was eyeshot spamming. Maybe I'm biased...

Interesting theory that may work in duels when the opponent is nice enough to start within 20m, but in group PvP the BH spamming eyeshot is usually not the one you're chasing down. The one you're chasing down is spamming fireknockdown until it sticks, first.

Anywho, this change went in with the last patch. You could get some pretty silly boosts before if you stacked things in the right order.

If you charged right at the BH out in the open, there would have been nothing in the game that would have saved you. Strategy determines life or death in PvP.
