Thread: Knockdown Nerf??
You are no Teras Kasi if your *Knockdown* dependant <3.
I am not KD dependant. I am only 1/1/1/1/in tka so I still need to rely on KD. SO LAY OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!

jees man, why don't you relax? kd still works on npc's so just because you can't kd-tank those kams or whatever you kids hunt these days (rofl) doesn't mean you are completely sol.
besides, kd is not supposed to be a tanking skill, which is why they implemented the timer to begin with.
You can't spam KD and expect it to stick. Use KD once and see if it sticks. If it does you choose another attack. The bug is that if you KD something that is already knocked down then it jumps back up. Bottom line is don't spam the attacks.
Also, they've amped up defenses in the previous patch, so skills like combat equilibrium and resist to knockdown will come into play more often.
When working with tougher opponents, I find it's useful to get dizzy to stick before trying KD.
thats the prob. I do not spam KD i use it once and the person or NPC gets right up!!!.There is something wrong here
After the recent patch I encountered this problem on Dath against MOBS. I would use Dizzy then KD and they would fall then get right back up attacking me before my next attack could even hit. It was as if I never hit them with either special. An I do not spam these specials due to costs. I am on the Ahazi server not sure that would make difference but never know. Any info we can get to the Devs would be helpful to them in looking at any problem and seeing if it is class specific, special specific or maybe server specific.

you only have KD1, why do you think your target should stay down? you don't dizzy and they will get right back up (unless they have more than 2 legs, in which case they always get up)
it's not a nerf, that's the way it's always been man!
melvin what you are describing is a bug with npc ai. sometimes they just don't get up, even though they are not dizzy. this is a bug and is likely being ''investigated'', so i wouldn't get too used to it
