Thread: Some data regarding Unarmed Toughness
Im pretty sure I can share this because it involves how an existing game system works, just like Meditate yesterday. But I got this little infobyte today on exactly how Unarmed Toughness works...
Unarmed Toughness decreases melee damage that you take when hit with a melee weapon and you're using unarmed.
So if it's 25, you get a 25% damage reduction in melee combat when you're unarmed.
For some reason Ithought it was effective when we were gettinghit by both melee and ranged attacks.
Thought you all might like to hear this. ![]()
So basically, the whole kiting issue is a double whammy on us. Not only can we not hit the person/NPC kiting us but we take more damage because it's ranged combat, not melee combat. Ouch! ![]()
This makes sense though...I've noticed many times that i can have three white con mobs around me and be able to take them down as long as they are Melee. If I've got a couple things shooting at me...it's all over but the crying. I guess that's why they made armor though!
Thanks Thunder for passing this along!
Yes, VK's count as an unarmed weapon. There is no difference in UT with Knuckler on or off.
And i don't mean my UT of 44 seems high. I mean 800 damage for said Kunga Warrior seems high.
UT works against MELEE damage. That includes swords, pikes and fists.
Put simlpy..
Sam swings Ax at Al who has UT of 0 and hits for 100.
The same hit on you with 44 UT would hit for 56.
